Arrived at 6pm. Drinks came at 645. Then they took our order?? Husband had the lobster and 6 small ones came. Asked for butter and they brought it after he had finished his meal. I asked for the red snapper to be frito (whole fried). It came steamed or had been grilled numerous times. Was not edible. Had two bites and left it. A dinner companion had the coconut shrimp and loved them. Dessert finally was served at 845p. I know this is a scenic place to take your time but a two course meal in 3 hours??? There were four occupied tables in total and 3 waiters and a bartender. We must have caught them on a bad day. Cheers and happy eats.

Hi,
We are really suprised of your comment. For the lobster, if you ask for a 1 kg lobster, yes if the divers was not able to catch a one kilo specimen, we will give you the quantity of one kilo of lobster (in you case it was probably 6 halfs . We are recognized for having a great service. I do not know wich day you came, but definitly if it happen as you mentionned, you really caught them in a bad day. I am sorry.
I hope let us have another oportunity to serve you. Normally this is not the way we serve our clients. Hope to see you soon.
Celine

We came for dinner mid-week. There were about 4 other tables occupied, all arranged for a terrific view. The food was outstanding. We ordered the seafood platter for two and the bbq platter for two and shared all among the four of us. We also enjoyed crepes Suzette for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection and we particularly enjoyed the lobster.

The wait staff was small (3) and meticulous in their duties. Consequently and mainly because of one very large party, our dinner took 3 hours from start to finish.

My sister and I walked here from Playa La Ropa. We had seen the Bio Park mentioned in things to do in Zihua, so decided to check it out. It was worth the walk (or cab ride if you don't like hills). We loved the view and Infiniti pool (included in the entrance fee, bring a suit) and the restaurant was also a nice extra for after the tour, but for us, the tour was the main attraction. Celine gave us the full tour, even though we were only two. We learned so many facts about the wildlife, insects and birds around the area. She offers tours to kindergarten classes and really tries to dispel myths about certain creatures. Mexico is as diverse in natural life as Costa Rica, but many do not realize the diversity that surrounds them. Her stories were great and she does a service by taking in some injured and rescued birds and animals. Celine is from Canada but has a love and passion for the country and wildlife since living here for many years. We had a wonderful morning and I would recommend this, and for a family with kids it would be a great outing!

This place is a hidden gem with one of the better views you will find. Eleven of us went for lunch and spend the day in the nicest pool I have been in in the area. Everyone was very happy with their lunch. Prices were very fair, and you received a lot of food. I was told the ribs were the best. I agree!

Thank you very much to take the time to write a comment, it is very nice from you and your group. We are the only restaurant in the area with an infiniti pool open to the public. The hours for the pool are from 13h to 18h every day and the restaurant from 13h and receive the last client before 22h pm.

We went because we'd heard there were fantastic views, good food and an interesting tour involving local animals. We were not disappointed. We ate lunch by the gorgeous infinity pool. We each had large margaritas; very large and very strong. You might want to consider the smaller size. I had a delicious seafood soup. My wife had a tasty crab salad served in an avocado. Service was good.

The restaurant and the warm, inviting pool provided spectacular views of Playa Las Ropas.

Easily the high point of our visit was a delightful tour of the premises with the French-Canadian owner Celine. She has assembled a small, informal and interesting collection of local flora and fauna. Her tour is interesting and informative. Her passion for the local critters is palpable and she makes you excited, too, especially if you're into nature.

There are lots of places to go and things to do in Zihuatanejo, but few have anything to do with nature. If nature and beauty are high on your list, don't miss this one.
