On our recent visit to Zihuatanejo we had lunch at Garrobos. We enjoyed it very much and planned to go back at night, but never made it. This is another reason we have to return to the area. Garrobos will be one of the first places we visit.
I had the fish tacos, although tasted like they might have some chicken mixed in. Very good. My wife had a shrimp quesadilla type dish which was also good. We did not have the "sauces" other people have written about.
Service was excellent although not many other customers. It was your typical open to the street restaurant but very clean and well maintaned.
This place was an outstanding value in my opinion. We look forward to going back and trying other selections on the menu.
