Our last two times at this restaurant weren't as good as we had hoped in the past - it was always a 5 star experience. The service remains superior, the ambience is great but the food isn't great. I had the chicken and it was very tough, beet salad is always great, ravioli is good but overall not a 5 star. Sorry.

“Nice restaurant”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Very attractive inside part of the restaurant. Good service. Our appetizers were some of the best we have had in a while. Very different. Fresh herb risotto with crispy sweetbreads. Awesome! Also the Parmesan crepe filled with perfectly cooked and seasoned veggies. The main courses in comparison were not quite as good but were still tasty. Had the shrimp with veggies and the BBQ veal with shrimp (was suppose to be lobster but they didnt have. They did make a price adjustment). My complaint on the dish, although yummy was the portion of the veal was miniscule. The white wine needs to be colder.

“Fabulous sauces and service”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Everything on the menu is excellent! Three of us dined sharing cuisine tastings. The rosemary roast chicken was tender with sweet potatoes. Our guest enjoyed the lamb chops with lamb ravioli. Extensive wine list.

“A very special restaurant, one of the best in PV”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

We chose this restaurant based on the many excellent reviews. Actually we also walked by it one afternoon and another couple standing in front said they had eaten there the night before. They loved it so we made a reservation. They had highly recommended the sea bass and so I had planned on ordering that. The menu said the accompaning sause was made of saurkraut. I couldn't picture that so ordered a seafood pasta dish which also was delicious. A few days later we met another couple who had been there and they too raved about the Sea Bass. They said the sauce didn't taste like saurkraut but does say that is what it is based on. They said it was fabulous sauce so don't be discouraged by the description. Try the Sea Bass. One thing we liked about the restaurant was that they offered half portions as well as whole. With a salad that we shared we found that to be plenty of food and made for a more affordable meal as well. The ambiance is lovely. Most of the tables for two are upstairs and we had a nice, quiet corner that made the whole experience very special. The service is excellent also. This is one of the best in Puerta Vallarta.

There is no View, but this is the one restaurant that is truly the finest in PV, the service, atmosphere, the quality of food. You have to go here! Sometimes we will go twice while staying, try the Seabass it is orgasmic off the charts there is seating on a small terrace upstairs if you want a little privacy
