What does one do during a rainstorm in Puerto Vallarta? You get up an leave the resort for a culinary adventure! And what an adventure it was. Because of the rain the restaurant was quiet. We were greeted by helpful, attentive, professional servers. Having come from a tourism / restaurant background, these compliments don't fall easy from my lips. We were brought a basket of bread and a chef carpaccio specialty. It was so good we ordered a second carpaccio. I had the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and spatzle done to perfection. My boyfriend had the mixed platter. After dessert the owner came and joined us we were in for our second surprise, the restaurant is also connected to a B&B and we were given a tour. Not only will we be back for dinner but next trip we will also book our room there! We finished the evening with Apple strudel and fine sipping tequila. If you are in Puerto Vallarta be sure to check this place out. The courtyard is breathtaking hopefully next visit it won't be raining and we can enjoy a seat in the garden.
