When in Puerto Vallarta, we frequent Red Cabbage at least once a week. The food quality, authenticity and presentation is consistently delicious. Antonio, Sergio and Walter are the most attentive to making sure your experience is perfect. The restaurant is quaint, with a Frida Kahlo theme. It was a converted house with seating on the first floor and kitchen on the second. The mole Oaxaca is the best I have found in Mexico. Get the Mole Oaxaca with Chicken, Mexican Platter (little bit of everything), or the Carnitas (pork) in salsa verde. This is a definite "must go to" when you visit PV. A taxi is recommended- a very short ride from downtown and hotels. There is usually one waiting for you as you depart.
