We found this htl last yr by walking around. right now, that is how it is discovered. just n of buenaventura hotel. jose luiz and his staff are wonderful. it is twelve suite-condo hotel, 5 stories w pool-hot tub-restaur on 5th. yes, an elevator. we try new places each year and will return here. breakfast included. did i say very nice staff. immediately on first name basis with all. we enjoy being in quiet neighborhood but short walk to malecon, easy bus to romantica. two blocks from la ley. very competitive rates for view-new-service. Rm 201 however, we did have the first night. would not take that again. breakfast included. lunch, no dinner at restaurant.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at HSN. We paid extra for a room with a large terrace. Overall it was a great value and our next trip to PV will include HSN.

Rooms:
The rooms are super clean and provide all the usual amenities and fully loaded kitchen. The advertised view and "large terrace" were a little disappointing (view was obstructed and terrace was barely big enough for 2 chairs). The decor is minimalist and modern, beds are firm, and the bathrooms are quite nice.

Facilites:
The rooftop pool and hottub is worth the price of the room alone. The only downside was the restaurant was also on the rooftop, and from the tables you can see the hot tub (the pool is visually separated well). This isn't a big deal usually, because the restaurant rarely had customers.

Restaurant:
The included breakfast is wonderful. If we go back and stay elsewhere, we'd definitely go back to HSN for breakfast. The service is wonderful, and while we didn't eat there for other meals, the prices on the menu looked very reasonable and if the quality of the breakfast is an indication, the dinners would be wonderful.

Service:
This really was what made this place great. Everyone (and I mean that, we talked to the sales manager, owner, housekeepers, waiters, and front desk folks a lot) was very helpful and went out of their way for us.

Location:
Just 2 blocks north of the malecon, this is a perfect location. Close enough to walk to everything, but not so close that the loud music and street salesman are all over the place. Also, it's across the street from a supermarket and a delicious taco stand.

Great place. couple blocks from north end of malecon. Newly built, about 10 suites with ultramodern decor, kitchen, flat tv, etc (see website for pics). Booked directly through website and got better deal than the walk in rate (about 1000peso, which is basically$100).
Friendly service, but the best part is the rooftop infinity pool and hot tub overlooking the pacific.

There is a supermarket across the street, and great taco stands right outside the door.

A refreshing oasis from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Didn't love PV overall, although if you speak spanish I highly recommend renting a car and driving a bit north to some beautiful beaches and more laid back places. Guayabitas is a great tourist destination for mexicans about 2 hours drive north. Not much there except a fantastically beautiful beach, and phenomenal seafood that you can eat from palapa restaurants on the beach. There are hotels there although I did not stay there. Stayed in San Blas for 2 nights. not a very interesting or nice town, but just before entering town you
pass a beach called las islas or something like that, right where the banana bread stands start and right by where you can take the crocadilo tour. That beach is great because it is a large cove, which = few waves and a warmer water temperature than the ocean beaches. Also right outside of san blas you can take a tour of the nature preserve, which is nice. About 3 hours, about 10 bucks a person plus you stop at a restaurant if you want lunch. YOu will see lots of interesting birds, turtles, crocodiles, and these strange curious creatures that look like monkeys but are relatives of the raccoon that
live there. In any case, A nice day would be to go there in the morning, then go to las islas beach for the afternoon. This might require a one night stay in San Blas the night before, which is all you need, and would be a nice day overall
