“Can't beat the breakfast at HSN!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

We had a great stay at Hotel Suites Nadia! The breakfast up on the roof deck is wonderful! Fresh made tortillas, awesome salsas, and friendly service...a great start to every day!
We also enjoyed having our own little happy hour up at the roof deck pool. Pool is very small, but we were often the only ones there, so it didn't make much difference.
Our suite was clean and comfortable. Not the most luxurious we've ever seen, but in a contemporary style and great value. You'll need to walk a little way to the Zone Romantica, but we enjoyed doing it along the Malecon...even though we were approached by vendors nonstop along the way!

Take a water taxi to Yelapa for the day! And go to the botanical gardens! PV is wonderful!

Another great stay at HSN! We love Puerto Vallarta. We love PV’s old world charm, which still exists downtown. Of course, we also enjoy a leisurely walk on the beach, street tacos, the energetic nightlife, and the daily celebrations; which vary from large, colorful rituals to simple warm street greetings.

When we visit PV, we want to be immersed in the culture, customs and the authentic way of life. For this, HSN is perfectly located. Walk out the hotel and turn right, and it’s literally steps from the beach (28 steps to be exact – I counted). Turn left and you arrive at some taco stands (just pick one – they’re all good), a few more steps and you come to a large grocery store on the main road, and all of PV is easily accessible from here - bus, taxi, walk.... We love that!

So, why do we love HSN? For all the things other reviewers have mentioned – particularly the staff! But, for us, it’s all about the experience: you may enter as a tourist, but in a very brief time you become a “resident”. You are part of the PV rhythm, immersed in the culture and lifestyle. What could be better? Is it perfect, perhaps not? Is it real and real fun – you bet it is! HSN is our “home” in PV. All the drudgery is taken-care-of for us, while we get to enjoy PV in all its glory, color, beauty and passion.

Thank you HSN! We can’t wait to return….

Room Tip: If you plan spend all day in your room (shame on you) choose an upper floor. If you are there to em...

HSN lives up to its great rating on this site. We were there for 2 weeks and, aside from excessive noise from the beach club in front on our first day, we were very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Jose Luis, the manager/owner, is conscientious and courteous. The bed is comfortable, the decor is attractive, and it is spotlessly clean. We were in 203 and I would have preferred to be one floor up as our balcony view was obstructed by the beach club sign. Nevertheless, the view from the pretty rooftop terrace is always spectacular. One suggestion would be to increase the amount of storage/closet space or add some hooks onto the bedroom and bathroom doors. A more varied breakfast menu would also improve the experience for those longer term guests. Aside from these quibbles, the proximity to Old Vallarta, the Malecon, and a lovely beach make Hotel Suites Nadia a great base for a PV visit.

Hello Sydney:

Thank you for sharing your experience at Hotel Suites Nadia Vallarta. As I explained while you were here, the special event -wedding- carried out at the restaurant next door was something that was not allowed by city ordinances and has been taken care ever since. The City government continues to work in measures to prevent this from happening again. I thank you for your understanding on this matter.

I am very happy to find out that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found the location of the hotel very acceptable.

Again, thank you for your kind comments about us and we certainly look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,

José Luis.

Recently completed a five week vacation at Hotel Suites Nadia and can honestly say we did not have one single complaint during the entire stay. Jose Luis (owner/manager) and his staff strive to provide excellent personal attention/service to their guests, and they certainly succeed. The suite was always well kept and cleaned daily. We have stayed at many different hotels and condos over a 25 year period of visiting PV annually. This was a first stay at Nadia for us, and it is now one of our favorites. We highly recommend Hotel Suites Nadia.

This was our third time staying in Hotel Suites Nadia in downtown Puerto Vallarta. This time we were in 403 which is a little smaller than 301 and 401 where we've stayed before, but had what we needed, and the little balcony is definitely big enough for two for morning coffee or evening drinks, with a great view of the beach (Playa de Camarones) and the sunsets on the water. The staff (99 per cent the same since we started going there) is just stellar - from the front desk to housekeeping. I wish I knew the name of the daytime desk clerk, as she has always been so nice - funny, helpful and accommodating -- and this year she was a wonderful informal Spanish teacher as I strove to do even better with my Espanol speaking and comprehension. But Jose Luis, if you're reading this -- I did thank her, but feel free to pass along how really great it was to see her again. We ate from the little taco carts and the hamburguesa stand just up the block from the condo, and both were delish and inexpensive. It's such a good location - close enough to walk to just about everything, but far enough off the Malecon to be quieter than places there. Competely recommended.

The name of the morning desk clerk girl is Victoria and I will make sure that she knows about your appreciation of her Spanish teaching efforts. Vicky is for sure an asset for the hotel and a great benefit to our guests, she does have a nice smile every day to share with guests and fellow staff members.

Again, muchas gracias, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Hotel Suites Nadia was the perfect spot for our first trip to PV. Great location just 2 blocks north of the Malecon .An amazing ocean view from the roof top terrace and infinity pool. A grocery store across the road.Steps away from the beach.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The lovely rooms kept squeaky clean. We loved our continental breakfasts on the terrace each morning while we looked out for whales.
It's easy to walk to the Malecon and Viejo Vallarta from here but it's a quieter spot away from party central. You feel in the heart of real Puerto Vallarta with it's cobblestone streets and liveliness. So easy to get a local bus to see some of the surrounding small towns.

What a great experience, right in the middle of old Vallarta. Steps from a beautiful beach, an easy walk to the Malecon, full-scale market up the street and the best late night 'street meat' tacos just up the block. Many restaurants are within a short walking distance. The room was clean and quiet (smallish & cozy), the staff was simply amazing. Warm, friendly, personable and very helpful. They offered towels for the beach, tips on places to eat and local attractions, and the topper was a beautiful complimentary continental breakfast every morning: fresh fruit, juice, coffee, toast & hot cereal. If you're looking for a change from the big beach resorts and would like to experience the real Vallarta, this is a great place to start.

Room Tip: Ask for room 403- a bit smaller than the privately owned rentals mentioned by other reviewers, but y...
