I visited El brujo over a year ago and I never got around to writing the review but this latest trip to Mexico jogged my memory of just how amazing this place was.

First off, don't be put off by its exterior or plain setting. What matters here is the food. The cusine is truly authentic Mexican food. Their ceviche and seafood salad/cocktail (in the red sauce) are some of the best I have ever had. Every restaurant that serves ceviche, I always compare it to El Brujo's... so far nothing has come close.

Last time I was there the outside had a green awning with a coca cola logo so make sure you don't accidently skip over this place because you don't think it is a restaurant.

Always one of my favorite places to eat in Vallarta. Nothing fancy, but the Margarita's are wonderful and the food is Awesome. Arrachera Boracho is choice. In a Jack Daniels sauce. Yummy. Guac and Salsa perfect. Queso Fundido muah. They have some great specialty dishes as well. Dont miss it.

This is a very welcoming restaurant that serves home cooked specialities that fill you with home cooked goodness. You walk away smiling after an incredible meal. Very large menu ranging from beef, chicken, to seafood. We were a party of three and tried and shared three amazing entrees. I highly recommend.

This Winter, we went there 3 or 4 times and each time, the food was always
dellicious. We really liked the pechuga poblana, molcajete and the chicken fajitas.
This has to be the cleanest kitchen in P.V. It's an open kitchen, so you see everything
that goes on there. We highly recommend it.

Although this restaurant is a little bit out of the way, it’s well worth the walk (or cab ride). It’s in the Romantic Zone, and a good 5 or 6 blocks from the beach going towards the mountain. We went here during the first week of our visit to PV and we both had the “Pechuga Poblana”, a chicken breast stuffed with onions, mango, and mushrooms, topped with a delicious green poblano sauce. We enjoyed it so much, we insisted on going back before we headed home. The second time was just as delicious! Staff were very friendly and nobody rushes you to eat and leave. You can spend as long as you like. Again, all you can eat nachos and salsa. As with many other restaurants, musicians will usually stroll in and sing for you (for a few pesos). Each night we were there, the singer sang a minimum of five songs for us (while playing his guitar)… he had a wonderful voice and made our experience even more memorable. An excellent meal at very reasonable price. Everyone from our group loved this place. Highly recommended!
