We has an amazing day out with the dolphins. It was an incredible experience that we will remember forever. Eduardo and Gemma obviously care deeply for these animals and love what they do.

We heard about this company from two other travelers. The resorts didn't seem to know much about them...and kept pushing the bigger companies on us. We were firm we wanted to go with this company after what we had heard from the other two! So glad we did!!! We went to a small presentation on dolphins ( very informative!!!!!!!!) then hoped into a boat and went out searching for the dolphins. We were told to don our goggles and fins (provided) and slowly enter the water. We were instructed to "dive" on the guides command and the dolphins would follow. They did!!!!!! For almost and hour we dove and played with these amazing creatures. You cannot touch them....this was not a disney attraction by any means....this was the real deal. The guide knew everyone of the dolphins by names as he has been studying this group for almost 15 years. He was so passionate about them and helping them and educating us. He really went the extra mile so EVERYONE on board got the best experience. There was one woman on board that couldn't swim....he taught her how to swim off the side of the boat!!! it was a great experience!!! We can't wait to go back and take our kids along too!!!!

“bucket list experience”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

my husband and his family (and I) swam with the dolphins a few days ago and it was the perfect end to our PV vacation. Like many small children i always wanted to swim with the dolphins growing up, but never in a captive setting. I wasn't sure if i'd be able to find a trip like this one but I am so glad we did. It was wonderful being out with the dolphins knowing they are on their own and free to be in charge of the event. They were so friendly and I never thought they would come so close and respond to my swimming the way they did. This is a great company with guides who are respectful and knowledgeable about the the animals. I couldn't even find a place like this in australia. thank you!!

“This is the only company to hire...”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

I don't even remember how many times I've been out with Eduardo and his crew -- it's just a tradition on every visit down to PV, as I am somewhat of a whale groupie! This time, I was not there during whale season, so a friend and I participated in the "swim with dolphins" tour which was equally delightful, since the bay is quite a bit warmer than I recalled it being in January!!! I appreciate and value the importance that Wildlife Connection places on being respectful and careful of the wildlife they are hoping to introduce to their guests. There is always a short lecture prior to departing, designed to educate the participants, as well as assure that both they and the whales/dolphins remain safe. Eduardo and his crew have years of experience in Banderas Bay -- whether you accompany him to see whales, dolphins, turtles or birds, you will not be disappointed, you will undoubtedly learn something new and you will know you are helping to advance the knowledge about -- and the protection of -- the flora and fauna in this beautiful part of the world.

“Eco tours; animal friendly; informative; fun (dolphins + sea turtles)”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

If you love and respect animals and nature and love informational tours with unique animal experiences, then this tour is for you. I have never interacted with dolphins or sea turtles with no captivity. This was amazing.

Wildlife connection is an organization of biologists and photographers dedicated to the study and conservation of dolphins, whales, and other marine life. For the dolphin tour, we started with a brief video and class about the animals Wildlife Connection encounters. Our small group learned all about the company's purpose and endeavors on the way to the dolphin area. Apparently, the bay houses resident dolphins that the guides have been visiting for years. The dolphins are comfortable with them and are not nervous. Once dolphins that are playing (rather than concentrating on feeding, etc) are located, guests are instructed how to join the dolphins in the water. What a magnificent experience! The dolphins came and swam around us in circles, curious. No captivity; no nets or cages at all. The dolphins were calm and amazing.

That evening we searched (with only 2 other people) for turtle eggs but found none. We visited the "turtle camp" that protects the eggs and the babies while/after hatching. We transported the baby sea turtles that had hatched that day to the beach and released them into the water. It took approximately an hour because they have to walk a ways to get into the water (it is important for them to walk on the sand before entering the water so they recognize the texture and chemical makeup of the location so they can return there to give birth in the future!) They also got washed back up onto shore, so we had to "help" them back into the water a few times.

This was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend booking these 2 tours!
