“Awesome Night”
Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

We are expats living in Vallarta and have been here seven months. We work in the resort industry and tend to stay away from touristy things when we are off. However....I wanted to do something different and went last Wednesday night.
All I can say is....it was absolutely the best night we have had since we've been here. The cruise to the island was fun and the waiters entertaining. They kept the beverages going too! The cruise was beautiful (make sure to be seated on the upper deck).
Once on the island, we were met with many characters dressed in animal and native garb. The dinner...a buffet...was amazing. I wasn't expecting such an array of wonderful food.
The show is magnificent, riveting, and very entertaining. Sort of a Mexican "Cirque de Soliel".
The cruise back featured music and dancing to Classic sing alongs from the 70's....Grease, Saturday Night Fever...and a rousing Michael Jackson and Village people medley.
A fantastic evening. Just do it!

“Just Ok”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

We were really disappointed by the food. You could have spent a quarter of the money and had a meal twice as good by the resort. The show was pretty neat, but they told us we would eat first. That wasn't the case. We sat there and watched the show while everyone was hungry. Wouldn't go again...

“Not Overly Impressed”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

For all the talk you hear about this attraction i had bigger expectation. I think we payed $120/person. You take a boat ride across the bay to Las Calitas to go see the show which was OK but i have seen better. Then then herd you off like cattle to a buffet style diner were i found the food to be better on the resort. Everbody seems to be looking for a tip while you are there but nothing was really done to warrant one. I expected a lot more for all the hype you hear about this attraction.

“Great expectations!”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

Sometimes when you have heard so much about an attraction, you can't help but be let down! We went with a group of 8. The organization at the pier was great, the boat ride fun and approaching Las Caletas enchanting!
I was not impressed with the show as it seemed like a cross between The Lion King and Cirque du Soleil. And those backless benches! Also, although the food did look inviting, it was cool and overdone on the steamers.
I would not encourage anyone to attend this attraction unless you are bored and have money to burn!
