“Truly Awesome”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

This is the tour that EVERYONE said we had to do. From the moment we got off of the plane we heard murmurs of the amazing Rhythms tour. So...we figured we had to do it. We were told that the show is choreographed by the Cirque du Soleil company...I do not know if that is a fact. What I do know:

The Boat Ride...was beautiful...seeing the mountains and the sky while coasting along the water was refreshing and great.

The staff...they were fun, funny and provided entertainment along the way with musical numbers and witty comments.

Food and drink on the boat...the drinks started flowing from the time we set sail. They were a bit watered down, but good. After a bit, there were some appetizer like foods served that were ok. We pecked on them a bit, but don't waste your appetite because you are headed to a delicious meal.

Dinner...you get off the boat and immediately see an amazing island lit with torches. You are greeted by friendly faces and the sound of a horn. Truly a beautiful experience. You eat in the candle lit restaurant and are served wine, water and whatever you choose from the buffet. The food was yummy and once again, the view was breathtaking.

The show...the show was AWESOME. The talent was stellar and the story was beautiful. You will be engaged throughout. It was truly one of the major highlights of our trip.

The Boat Ride back...more drinks, more amusement from the crew and more breathtaking views...what more can you ask for??

Note on rain: It was slightly rainy the night we took this trip and please know that it had a minimal effect on our experience. It did not alter the boat ride or dinner at all. We were given umbrellas for the show which worked fine. It was no problem and I am a person that does not like being in the rain...

“Great show, rocky boat ride”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

This was a great show and a good (not great) dinner buffet following. A little like Cirque de Soliel, but not as polished. The ride over to the private beach was very wavy and rocky, not very pleasant. The crew did all they could to entertain us, and there were various sweet free drinks on the boat. Worth doing once.

“Amazing evening- wish I new a few things before we went.”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

We booked this excursion not knowing much about it. It began for us with a rude women checking us in, a much longer wait that anticipated from Vallarta adventure center in Nuevo Vallarta, then a bus ride to Puerto Vallarta (the tide was too rough to take a boat there). At this point I wanted to leave, but am VERY glad I didn't. Once in puerto vallarta we took a boat ride to the private beach where it was held with beautiful views and entertaining staff. They had snacks and cocktails for us. Once we arrived we were met with more very friendly staff and were escorted to dinner. The food was ok, but the atmosphere made up for it. Next onto the show and by far the highlight of the night. I can honestly say it is comparable to a Cirque du Soleil show!!! Absolutely blew my mind, and not at all what I was expecting. It is a must see!!!!!!
The boat ride home was wonderful. The staff were very entertaining and the views of the coast were amazing!
I wish I would have known a few things prior to going however... PLEASE READ!!
1. Take a nap that day, we didn't arrive back to our hotel until 12:30pm.
2. EAT something before you go, dinner wasn't until 9pm, I was starving!
3. Drink a ton of water prior to going, it is a HOT ride to the beach.
4. Our boat ride there was really rocky and hot; almost everyone onboard was green and queasy. I would have given anything for my dramamine. The ride home was much better however.

“A Boat Ride, Cocktails, Dinner, and a Show...The Complete Package”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Rhythms of the Night came highly recommended to us. Now we understand why!!

The boat ride to Las Caletas was very enjoyable. At Las Caletas, we followed a torch lit path to the multiple tiered, dining area. The dinner buffet was delicious with a variety of dishes to choose from. The setting was beautiful with all tables facing the Bay of Banderas. After dinner we proceeded to the open air theater for the show. From fire twirling to acrobatics and gymnastic maneuvers, the show was amazing. The only negative to the evening was the steady shower the lasted from a few minutes before we docked at Las Caletas right through dinner. It finally stopped raining just before we entered the theater. Thankfully, the crew on board the boat handed out umbrellas to all and the staff at the theater dried off all of the benches.

On the ride back, the crew put on their own entertainment show on the bow of the boat. The night lights of Puerto Vallarta created a nice backdrop for their performance.

This was truly the complete package!!

I'm still trying to figure out how they lit sooooooo many candles. The whole island is lit by candles. The show and food was great.
