Reasonable prices, excellent service and breakfast food options keep us coming back for more. Oh, the coffee is amazing also from Ixtlahuahuey.

Last evening we went with six friends for dinner at Old town Bistro. The waiters were fabulous, the atmosphere romantic, and the food delicious and beautifully presented!!! It was one of my favorite dinners in the three months we have been here this season!!! And a plus for the evening was the pianist playing lovely soft dinner music ! Try the Old Town Bistro, you will not be disappointed!
We went there for breakfast. Unfortunately we came upon an organized charity event which sent the place in a bit of a frenzy.
First they wanted us to participate to the charity event and accept to have the buffet. We are not buffet lovers, we wanted a la carte including special request for coffee prepared individually.
To their merit they went out of their way to please us: presented us with the a la carte menu and actually turned the expresso coffee machine .
My guest had eggs Benedict and I went for the the spinach omelet. The first was excellent and the second was rather bland.
We then ordered an extra of sausages, which was a mistake.
I give it a good rating for the effort and the results under the circumstances.
Found another great new restaurant in Puerto Vallarta after 18 years of 4+ weeks visit each year.
Read about Old Town Bistro, so decided to try it one night. We were not disappointed with the food, service and cleanliness. I had the Lamb Lasagne a unique dish that was full of very flavorful lamb. My wife had the Catch of the Day, a delicious red snapper. We pleasantly surprised by a complimentary key Lime Pie and a Cheese Cake, both were tasty and moist.
We wil be revisiting on our return trip next year.
Burgers and Patty Melts are what I usually have for lunch here and they are great, like that you have choice of french fries or potato salad and get cole slaw. The atmosphere is good with inside and outside seating. Don't be in a hurry as the service can be slow but worth the wait.
