Wow!!!!! We stayed at Playa Los Arcos for a couple of nights and had a master suite and I didn't think you could beat that - THIS PLACE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!!!!!

We came at the time of year where there weren't many people, but that was fine since we had the entire top deck to ourselves. We did a combo of cooking and eating at the restaurant (both which were amazing). I have another review on Los Marcedos (which delivered our groceries) who stocked us up with everything we would need in the kitchen.

The grill was outstanding - they even set you up for grilling. Carl (who was down from Canada managing the bar) is from our hometown and we chatted quite a bit - great guy and great staff. EVERYONE talks about Isabelle and what a great and kind woman she is - hate it we missed her.

I would never go back and stay somewhere else after experiencing this (unless I have the kids). The service was beyond incredibe - they even did a load of laundry for us.

We had an outstanding lunch and happy hour there. The room was shockingly gorgeous with a huge closet and what a view. I think we had 401 (we had a full kitchenette). I loved it. If you have any questions I am Ronda_Young@hotmail.com

Casa Isabel is not for the "all inclusive resort" type. It's perfect for the adventurous and open minded person who wants to truly experience Mexico. The casas are open air and exposed to the elements including a beautiful breeze, amazing views of the jungle and the sea, insects, and critters. The kitchens are well equipped and I recommend buying fish and veggies from the local market and preparing your meals at home. Some of the best food we ate during our trip was food we cooked in our open air kitchen! When I travel, I usually don't visit the same place twice but my partner and I are already planning a return trip to Casa Isabel in the fall. We only stayed 4 days this past time and it wasn't nearly long enough. There is so much to take in and explore from hiking to taking kayaks out into the bay. It's by far the experience of a lifetime!

Room Tip: All of the casas are beautiful! I recommend choosing one further up hill that allows for a good bree...

The view is second to none. Menu offers pretty standard fare, steak, shrimp, salads etc. Service is very good. Prices are on the high side 250 pesos and up for entrées plus drinks.

All can be forgiven when you realize the enormous task of even building this place. You will not find a better view anywhere in Puerto Vallarta.

After spending a great two weeks at Casa Isabel in February 2013 we decided to return in February 2014. We stayed in room 402 again which has an wonderful view of Puerto Vallarta. Many of the staff were there to greet us and Isabel was also in residence. The whole experience from arrival to leaving 16 days later was outstanding. Many thanks to the great staff. We will most certainly be back next year.

Room Tip: All rooms are great but if you want a super view choose floors three or four.

Find your way 2 floors high at an empty resto at 9:30 am powder orange juice sold over $3 us as a fresh juice ! Green juice thicker than glue ( they added cactus to replace the parsley ) discusting I almost threw up ! Cold coffee cold 2 shrimp omelet with cheese sauce ( grated cold cheese not even melted ) pancaked tasted like sour milk served with cheap thick sirup $40 for 3 discusting breakfast too expensive for the view of a building under construction ! And i must say our waiter had an answer for everything ( be careful what you order ) menu description isń´t at all what you re getting ! VERY desapointing ... Oh and my knife had a big chunk of God knows what ... Stick to it !! Yark Yark Yark all the way ...

Six of us went for dinner at Casa Isabel and it was fantastic! The view is spectacular and we were lucky enough to be there as the sun was setting. My meal was one of the best I've EVER had and the prices are very reasonable. Karl, the manager, came over to our table for a visit and he was gracious enough to show us one of the beautiful hotel rooms. Be sure to order a Mexican or Spanish coffee after dinner so you don't miss out on the amazing "fire show"! I can't wait to return!

Hard to beat the view, except for Barcelona. Out of the norm of traffic............awful, awful service, and the food was mediocre at best. Noisy, even in the "open air above the city"...We won't go back. We were not hotel guests, and perhaps they're treated better.

Room Tip: was not a guest there--only there for dinner--a birthday dinner at that! Such a disappointment.
