My wife and I celebrated her birthday, for a week at Casa Isabel. Our room was tastefully appointed in Mexican decor, and the open concept of the suite gave spectacular views of Banderas Bay. The pool and infinity hot tubs again overlooked the Bay from the hillside hotel. Ideally located, the walk to old town was about 10 minutes or 15 minuites to the beach. The restaurant and bar are well staffed, and serve reasonably priced quality fare. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel, common areas, and gardens, are well maintained and first class.

Can't imagine a better place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. We stayed here for a week recently and happened to be the only guests staying there the whole week. We loved everything about this place.

The service was outstanding. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite when we arrived which was a nice surprise. All of the rooms looked excellent and we would be more than happy to stay in any of them on our next visit.

The whole facility is kept in imaculate condition. The view is spectacular, especially while relaxing in the infinity pools.

Sometimes the cab drivers had a little trouble finding the place but most of them knew where it was.

The restaurant opened for the season while we were there and it was also exceptional.

Can't wait to come back!

We first stayed in Casa Isabel 6 years ago and we decided to stay there again as we wrapped up our trip to Mexico. We enjoyed it very much the first time and were wondering if the high standards of service and beauty of the grounds had been kept up and indeed they had! It's a beautiful place and the staff is terrific...very friendly and helpful.
Thanks guys...we will definitely be back!
Cheers!

My husband and I recently spend our wedding night and 2 additional nights in the Cristal Suite. We could not have loved, the room, property and people more! The suite was so perfect and the property and all the people there were beyond accomodating and wonderful! We also had our rehearsal dinner there prior to the wedding and had a group of 35. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. Everyone raved about the choice! The manager also let all our guests see our honeymoon suite which they loved. I think this place is as close to a home away from home while still having resort amenities that I could imagine! The walk down the hill to the romantic zone and beach was a very quick and easy one too. We just always took a cab back up and would only get charged like 50 pesos (3-4 dollars).

Room Tip: The Cristal Suite is incredible! Totally open to the view but there are sliding glass doors you can...

This was our first trip to Mexico. How lucky because of serendiity we end up at Casa Isabel. My husband bid on a weeks stay at a fund raiser. So with no reseach we go to Puerto Vallarta for a week. Casa Isabell exceeded all of our expectations. The rest was up to us to have some fun in Mexico. We did and then some. The whole staff was great but I must give a nod to Arturro. He is a good man. We hired him to drive us around one day. He is easy to be around and is a very good guide. I wish his family well. When we return to Puerto Vallarta we will stay at Casa Isabel. Anywhere else I can't imagine.

We were staying at a beach-side resort in Vallarta, and went out to lunch. On our walk, we looked up the hill and noticed a beautiful little inn with red umbrellas and palapa roofs. Jumping into a cab, we pointed at it and said, "Take us there!" He swept us up the hill to Casa Isabel. After a brief tour, we jumped back in the cab, returned to our hotel, checked out, and checked into Isabel. We extended our stay two extra days, and had the most romantic trip of our relationship. We adore Casa Isabel, and would recommend Carla, the gracious and beautiful Uruguayan, as a hostess in any hotel in the world!

Room Tip: Honeymoon Suites, or the two bedroom suite 'Isabel'.

This review is for the hotel more specifically. Me and my mother stayed here for over a week and could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was here. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with a beautiful rustic decor. Each room had a fabulous view of the bay and the city. We spent lots of time in their infinity edge Jacuzzis staring out at the views sipping on 2 for 1 happy hour margaritas. The best part of all was the hotel staff and customer service, We were treated to handmade cappuccinos and fresh fruit for their complimentary breakfast and had great room service, The staff were all courteous and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough! 5++++ stars. Darlene Griffin, Los Angeles, CA
