Stayed here for a couple of days only, but such a great couple days. Caviar at breakfast, fresh fried snapper by the pool, foam pool party, real iced tea, smiling friendly staff, comfy beds, ahhhh!! I didn't want to leave and look forward to my next trip back!

Incredible location and view. Cannot have a better beach in the area and the view included cliffs on each side of property and whales not far off shore. Food was good and service was great. Dated property that is scheduled to be updated. Some minor issues with construction while we stayed - staff was expanding elevator service which required a jackhammer much of the day. Our first visit to Ziva, would recommend for location and service - not current state of rooms/facility. Easy $5 cab ride into town. Beach was the best in the area according to transportation service from airport. We spent a day off the coast in center console boat and I didn't see another beach as nice as Ziva. Not 4 or 5 star facility because of dated structure but service and location was 5 star.

Room tip: Any ocean view - recommend higher floors

I stated that there were ever all problems during my stay that were not satisfactory. My initial reservation was for a King bed and that is what is on my Hyatt passport profile but as many times as I emailed asking for this I did not get it. The elevators and shower were not in good working conditions nd my husband is disabled and had to take the stairs several times.

My wife and I have been going to PV for many years staying at the then Camino Real and later Dreams. We were in PV this past February for 2 weeks and stopped at Hyatt Ziva to see the improvements they had made so we could see if we could come home next winter. We were in a taxi that is based at Hyatt Ziva and when we arrived at the gate the guard checked and we were told that we could not enter.The taxi driver told him we had been coming to this property for many years but he still refused let us see the property. If this is how Hyatt treats past guests then we will take our business elsewhere . WHEN WE TRAVEL WE WILL AVOID HYATT PROPERTIES.

Please accept our apologies for the frustration you felt at not been able to see a property that you had patronized on many occasions. Please know we welcome visitors and appreciate your interest to see our resort for a possible return visit. I regret we were not aware of your visit. In cases such as yours, we recommend making an appointment so that someone can accompany you around the property and answer any questions you may have. Our hotel has been at almost 100% capacity, and it was unfortunate we could not accommodate you; most likely, no one was available when you visited the security entrance. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back to rectify this unfortunate occurrence.
