Excellent meal - steaks cooked to perfection. My husband, the wine snob, had one of the best glasses of wine he's had in Mexico. The sides were somewhat bland. This restaurant suffers from what I'm finding to be a not uncommon problem in PV: over- attentive wait staff - too much fussing with table settings while we were eating, constantly interrupting to ask how everything was and it seemed like we had three different waiters, couldn't tell who actually taking our order.

We stumbled upon this gem by accident. It looks WAY expensive (and if you order certain items, it can be). Very attentive service, and they were eager to accommodate my companion's food allergies. Be careful about ordering too much. They are clearly instructed to "up sell." I was talked into the chorizo appetizer for myself. When it arrived, it was THREE full-sized sausages! The good news, is that I had dinner for the next day. The grilled chicken breast was TWO full-size breasts. We had so much food left over that we ended up taking a special cab ride back to our condo to put the food in the fridge, before heading back into town for the clubs.

We went to his resto after reading the reviews. This is an expensive steakhouse which tries to imitate high class places from up north (huge steaks with very little trimmings). The three beef steaks and one tuna steak were so poorly cooked that they all required extra cooking (medium well-done was rare and medium-rare was rare / blue). The accompanying salads were excellent but the ordered fries tasted like paste and you could not get baked potatoes. The regular cook must have been sick that day and replaced by an amateur.

If you enjoy beef you'll love this restaurant. The atmosphere is good, nice decor, inexpensive
but found the service to be inconsistent. The filet of beef was excellent and the provilone cheese appetizer was to die for. Have gone twice and expect to go again.

My 1st night here in Puerto Vallarta, my friends who live here suggested this steak house restaurant. It was wonderful ! When we chose tenderloin, the waiter brought out a lovely single large tenderloin for one and their huge tenderloin for 3 at barely more than twice the price. We 3 chose the big one for us 3 & ordered it medium rare. It was done perfectly when served and
delicious. The salad and asperagus were excellent also. We had glasses of the house Malbec, very reasonably priced and. pleasant. The service was excellent and the meal was comparable to a Sullivans in the US for less than half the cost. We enjoyed an outdoor table for the lovely evening. The only down side was a fair amount of traffic noise on busy Badillo street. For a break from Puerto Vallartas great sea food, I highly recommend it!
