Embarcadero was by far one of the best kept secrets in PV.

We have brought different visitors there to try it and each time the staff, and owners Ken & Maria have been exceptional in creating a wonderful experience that has us coming back.

Their food is delicious and the amount that is served is far more than enough to fill you and have leftovers. The prices for the quality & quantity of food is exceptional. We loved the surf & turf, shrimp & avocado salad, and was really taken aback by their linguine with shrimp. Our waiter, Leonardo is welcoming and very attentive! We had to refuse the complimentary dessert because we were so full, but they always bring out the best cheese cake after you're done dinner. This is a must try!

Embarcadero is a lovely small , nice tablecloth and fabulous service and menu place. Sanitation is of upmost concern in the kitchen and tables. So you can be guarenteed of no fleas, no doggie salivating on the table cloth ( and we all know where doggie's mouth has been ! ) , no doggie dander. I must add that these 4 were dressed as " just up from the beach" and not even
nice casual . I was shocked when I saw the two dogs in breast bably harnesses, because I am allergic to animal dander. On the walk after the meal I stopped at Maximillians', Freddie Tucan , Jo Jacks and other resturants that I deem equal to Mariscos Embarcadero and all said they would accept animals outside ...except Tucan which has a NO Pets sign at the door.
Who wants to smell pet pee/poop or trip over a water dish or see a pet eating off of a plate or yapping while you are having your meal ? This is a fine resturant like TRIO ( where no dogs are allowed ) and if they start to allow animals their rating will go to low class level.
This is not appropriate for babies nor children. It is fine dining.

Thank you for your input, however I must say that service dogs or see and eye dogs are not restricted from entering since their owners depend on them for the service they provide. These animals do not eat off of our plates nor do they walk across the tables. Unfortunately some people have issues with animals and I can also understand their concerns as well. Embarcadero will eventually have outside seating which will put this issue to rest. Embarcadero is not a high end restaurant although the food served is of equal quality offering a better value. We are a family restaurant and welcome everyone including kids to enjoy the food and services we offer.

We went here based on a recommendation from a woman we met down here and she was right. The food was great. I had to try the shrimp and avocado salad; jumbo shrimp with avocado and lettuce, very good (maybe a little less dressing tho). Chicken saltimbocca was very good, brown gravy a little too salty, would get it on the side next time. The kabob was very good also. Portion sizes were large.
Would go back again if we had more time.

The pies/cake they get from Pie Iin the Sky were really good (tried the key lime pie and chocolate cake).

Our first visit to Embarcadero was amazing. The food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. The owners, Ken and Maria added such a warm and personal touch that we felt like family. Ken has the place running to perfection. His staff is polite, efficient and delightfully friendly. After dinner we sat a while with Ken and Maria and enjoyed a wonderful conversation.
Our first visit definitely won't be our last!

Third time to Emabarcadero. Each time was as good as the first. Maria, Leonardo, Sylvester, the chef can't say anything except....superb! Always the best service, and food is beyond expectations. Dessert after each meal...Love it!
Maria...we will be back again before we leave.
