“Great food”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

We found this place on a recent trip to Vallarta. Some friends live in PV year round suggested it and they always know the great places to eat. The restaurant is small but super clean and comfortable. The service was fast and when the food came, we were blown away. the presentation was first rate and the taste was fabulous. Best of all, the prices did not knock me over, they were reasonably priced for the quality. I plan to go back over and over again.

“What a surprise”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

This was my fourth visit to PV. We only ate here because it was recommended to us by some locals. OMG!! The fish dinners and salads here are amazing. And the prices are very reasonable. I had the special, which for that night was prawns. I have never have had any so large and so fresh and so perfectly prepared. And to finished it off an excellent key lime pie dessert.

The food was so good my 3 friends and I agreed that this had to be our lunch destination for our final day in PV. My friends all had pasta for lunch which I am told was excellent. I had the steak sandwich. Very good and the portions were more than generous. And to top it all off, fresh flan for dessert. Still warm from the over. Without question the BEST flan in PV!!

This turned out to be one of our favorite restaurants in PV! Leonardo our server for lunch was fun, very attentive and hard working. A great sense of humor. Maria, our waitress for dinner was great. Very friendly and offered great food suggestions. But wait. Apparently Maria is the owner? If so, THANK YOU MARIA!!! We all four LOVED your hospitality and will return again someday to your fine restaurant!

“Quaint Streetside Cafe in Heart of Romantic Zone”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were walking from the new pier up to Olas Altas. We were able to sit at a table along the street and enjoy the beautiful evening. We were in PV for 18 days and ate out for dinner each evening. We did not have a better meal for the price, quality, and quantity of the food. All of those who served us were kind and eager to please. This is a definite must for a tasty dinner in PV if you're looking for authenticity.

“Fantastic Place 1/4 Mile from our Condo”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Maria and staff along with her husband Ken have created a wonderful place to dine right near the new pier. The only downside is how popular they have become so getting a table is tough. Look for a possible expansion in the future. We like them for lunch and the Baja style shrimp tacos are to die for! 3 large tacos cooked to perfection. Add a Pacifico (or 2) and dinner is almost an afterthought. The decor continues to change with each trip Maria makes to Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque so we look forward to the new items and the margaritas on our next trip down. Being able to walk there on the beach from our condo in 10 minutes is great. Thanks to everyone who has made this our number 1 choice.

“What a great little find”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Our last nite in PV celebrating an important birthday, we finally found this place after a casual recommendation from friends. Great find! Not too big, but lively and also cosy at the same time. The two hosts are very attentive, and the food is great. Predominantly seafood, it lives up to its reputation of absolute freshness. The margaritas are pretty darn good too! Started off with a Caeaar Salad - finally someone got it right! The Shrimp cocktail spoke of fresh as well. Mains of Mahi Mahi, and a lobster for madame - both excellent, again, very fresh! Complimentary key lime pie finished things off nicely. Can't wait to go back. It is just off Olas Alta across from Archie's Wok . The Dollar Rent a Car is on the corner. Worth booking in advance as it is pretty small. They do have expansion plans for the future though
