If you visit PVR you have to take the tour. It is beautiful and very historical. Your spiritual senses will take control of you. It is very quiet but very well preserved

No matter what your religion you must stop here---only one block off the Melicon but it is one of the most beautiful old churches you will see.

An old church in downtown Puerto Vallarta - it is beautiful! You can see this church from just about anywhere - it has a gold crown on top which is easily visible.

This church is famous for its tower topped with a fanciful crown. Inside, the painting of Nuestra Senora that graces the altar is traditional and beautiful. There are many pretty details in this church. When we stopped by on a Friday afternoon, there was a Quinceniera mass in progress. The young woman was kneeling at the front of the church, in a beautiful dress the color of blood oranges, below the image of the Virgen of Guadalupe. The priest spoke of familial love and individual growth. Out a door on the left of the nave, we stopped for a few minutes in the patio to enjoy the sculpture and the the tile work. This is a lovely church.
