“Scenic Golf”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2012

A camera should be the 14th club in your bag!
Ocean views and wildlife in the jungle is breathtaking. The courses are perfectly manicured and fun to play. The caddies are very experienced and will give you a read on the greens that will leave you shaking your head. Must play in Puerto Vallarta. Both Niclaus and Weiskopf courses.

“Must play courses in Puerto Vallarta...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2012

Have played the Nicklaus and Weiskopf courses many times over the last 6 years. Every vacation I try to play each one several times. Absolutely worth the effort to get there from PV. Only a 160 peso cab ride from the Marina area. Found coupons this year for 45 American dollars and then basically 50 more dollars for a cart. Worth the $100 for the round!! Courses are in great shape and the greens, especially on the Nicklaus course, are challenging. Plenty of room off the tees for you that haven't played in awhile because of winter at home. Very accomodating staff being very friendly and making you feel they are glad you are there. Nice range and putting green as well....have fun!!

“Tough course for the 1st round of the year..”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2012

Played both courses during my 10 day stay in Puerto Vallarta. Jungle mountain courses, carved out of dense forest. Both are very narrow, and the winds are contant and very deceving. Bring many balls. Courses are in excellent shape, and the greens were fast.
Prices are very steep, I played the twilight rate which started at 1pm for 139 USD.
Pace of play was good, 3 1/2 hours.
Shot 88 & 89, to many lost balls.

“Very nice course with great views - but for a price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2012

My father and I played the Nicklaus course. It was in very good shape, and the views were beautiful. The course was tough and a little gimmicky (as you would expect with a Nicklaus design). There was not a lot of room for error and you will be forced to lay up on several tee shots unless you are a long hitter. We didn't play the Weiskopf course but heard it was a little more forgiving and also in great shape... next time we would probably play that one. We had discounted greens fees which made the cost reasonable. However, if you are paying full price I don't think the cost justifies the experience. I would not pay more than $100 USD (including cart) to play this course.

“What a view!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2012

This course was in excellent condition was some amazing views on almost all holes. Getting to the course was through some pretty desolate areas of PVR, however, as soon as you turn the corner and head into the development, it is like the garden of eden.

Rolling course set in the moutains with tough fairways and greens. The course was in great shape and the views were incredible!
