“HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE STUNNING”
Reviewed February 6, 2011

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE STUNNING.

Is it having breakfast waiting for you with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice followed by whatever you want from Huevos Rancheros to unbeliebable french toast covered with freshly ground cinnamon.

Or perhaps having a beverage in the hot tub while watching the whales in the bay.

From the monster beds, to the rain forest showers to the sounds of the surf lulling you to sleep it is memorable in every way.

Wrapping the day up, after the made to order dinner ( shrimp. tuna, steak ? Its all up to you ) its good to spend time with friends and remind yourself why we've enjoyed each others company for all these years.

Its all stunning and its all here. Just figure a way to book this - life is far too short not too

My parents invited my wife and me, along with my brothers and cousin, to enjoy eight amazing days and seven peaceful nights in paradise. I've been to chic beach resorts around the world (from Cap Antibes to Hawai'i and several places in the Caribbean and South Pacific), but this was heaven!!!

The staff catered to our every whim, consulting on daily menus, mixing drinks, and setting up our chaise on the nearly private stretch of white sand beach steps below our villa. Except for church in the old city on Sunday and a few random strolls along the beach and malecon, we didn't leave our villa. Truly an experience fit for royalty!!!

This is a great place for families with kids. These villas offer large families space to spread out and enjoy themselves. The open air living room offers great views of the bay, mercifully all the bedrooms are air conditioned. Eduardo cooked to order every morning and every evening, the meals were delicious. The staff makes daily trips to the store to purchase whatever you need and you simply reimburse them afterward. This allows you to relax and enjoy. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. A great choice in PV

GM Jose, Chef Eduardo, our Houseman Julian and the rest of the great staff make a vacation here something really special!
The Vida Sol Villa is spectacular with it's open air floor plan and ocean front view but it's the great folks who work here who take a fantastic location and turn it into something extraordinary.
We went with a group of old friends for a week of fun and relaxation. From the minute we walked into our breathtaking villa we were made to feel at home by Julian and Jose. Our hats are off to them!!
Chef Eduardo's cooking could be featured in any high end resort or restaurant. I would know, I've been in the restaurant business for 25 years and Eduardo's food is some of the finest I've had anywhere. Be sure to ask him to do his Chile Rellenos (and his Lobster Bisque absolutely ROCKS!)
The house staff keeps everything spotless and shining and the hardworking housekeeping ladies kept us all knee deep in beautiful, white fluffy towels. What pro's!
All in all, one of the best weeks we've ever spent anywhere. Our thanks to everyone at Casa Tres Vidas

I purchased a week through Luxurylink for a family celebration of our daughter's 30th B-Day. The website only hints at the beauty of this gem. You arrive from the PV airport to a stone street winding towards the Pacific. A small iron gate guards your villa and staff brings your luggage down several flights to a beautiful private spot. The first level has a pool ,heated spa, living room, dining area ,kitchen and terrace. Next level up has 3 bedrooms with the master overlooking the ocean. On the top level is a very private terrace for sun. Also is a gate to secluded beach. If you choose you can walk to town on the beach. Romero, your house manager assembles a daily shopping list for your meals. Cooked morning and evening meals by Eduardo, a culinary institute grad, using the freshest ingredients of any cuisine. Our grocery bill for a week was about $1000 including lobster and steak. The housekeeper cleaned rooms during breakfast. My wife was very happy not to have any cooking duty. Our best family trip in a log time.

This was an unbelievably terrific and unmatched vacation experience despite having holidayed extensively all over the world.

Despite misgivings about going to Mexico in August, the weather, though hot, was fanatastic with sunny days and spectacular lightening and thunderstorms at night.

At the core of our wonderful vacation, was the exemplary accommodation and service at Casa Tres Vidas. Our party, consisting of 5 teenagers and 3 adults, was catered to so incredibly by Pablo, the chef, Marcos, our houseman and Roberto.

We stayed in Vida Mar and it worked out very well once the one single adult switched rooms with two of the teenagers to put them in the bedroom on the main living level which turned out to be less soundproof than the others on the second level. This was really only an issue because the teenagers liked to stay up later than the adults and the pool and hottub are right outside the bedroom on the main floor. All of the bedrooms are cool and roomy with their own bathrooms and the "honeymoon suite" on the second floor has its own balcony facing the ocean.

Pablo and Marcos provided incredible meals and specialty cocktails at cocktail hour each day. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the price of groceries is not inexpensive and must be paid for in cash (US or pesos) on the following day so do ensure you have sufficient cash with you. Given the fabulous quality of the meals and drinks, however, I disagree with the previous reviewer that little is saved by eating (and drinking) in.

The private sundeck on the 3rd level of the villa was well- utilized by our party although I preferred the fairly secluded (but not private) beach in front of the villa which Roberto would set up each morning with lounge chairs and palapas (umbrellas). The ocean water was incredibly warm (likely due to the time of year) allowing me to spend hours each day swimming and snorkeling, something which I have never done in Hawaii, Jamaica, Cancun or other tropical locales where the water has not been this warm. The water in the pool was a little cooler which was perfect for refreshing yourself after sunbathing.

With all cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping done by the excellent staff of this property, the only thing we all had to do each day was lay about and enjoy ourselves. Although perhaps the same might be said of an all-inclusive resort, having your own private villa and staff made this a truly effortless and memorable holiday that we hope to repeat in the foreseeable future.

I recently stayed at Casa Tres Vidas and although I loved the beach access and beach view, and I loved the service, it was not as private as I would have liked. It needs a bit of a renovation and a new coat of paint on the walls. People from other Villas kept walking into our living room looking for the beach access door, and it was quite frustrating. The maids laundry room was downstairs so the maids spent pretty much the whole day with us. I think this place would be nice if it were a little bit more private and if they renovated it. However, chef Pablo is great and Marco is a great waiter! I loved the service here, it was top notch, but the rest of Casa Tres Vidas had little to offer me.
