“Beautiful View”

Great panoramic view of the bay. Great shopping place and a Starbucks! Art work along the boardwalk is great for taking pictures. Vendors don't bother you unless you approach them. Nice romantic steps by the water to sit down and enjoy a smoke or ice cream.

“Don't miss the boardwalk in PV”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

My daughter insisted that we visit the boardwalk at night since she had been there before. It was very alive and colorful at night with the clubs, mime performing and food and shops. I could not see the sand sculptures which was unfortunate, there was no lighting on them. It was really crowded and very humid the night we went. I think I must have lost a gallon of water in sweat that night. There is a shop that sells beaded art sculptures that I love and I bought a turtle there. It is fun to go to some of the shops and get some good deals. Mostly bags, hats, jewelry, bottles of vanilla and magnets is what I saw. T-shirts very rarely come in plus sizes for some of us fat Americans. It was fun watching the pelicans dive for fish in the day time. We took a bus around 10:30 at night with my daughter in a wheelchair and caught a taxi home around 12:30. Most of the shops stay open late. Buses are like 7 pesos, so very cheap. It was irritating sometimes when people come up to you to sell jewelry and stuff. Overall great time!

“Great time in PV”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

The Puerto Vallarta boardwalk is a "free tour" you can't miss if you visit this town. It is a beautiful and safe place to walk. We had a chance to be there during a beautiful sunset, and it was awesome. We also loved the many sculptures and sand sculptures buy various local artists. Another thing we enjoyed were the "voladores de papantla", who are local indians who give a true show. There are also many good restaurants to choose from which have a beautiful ocean view.

“A nice Mexico experience”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

This felt more like typical Mexican shopping to us. There are restaurants along the beach and lots of shops for many blocks. It's probably something you could spend a whole day doing (if your husband can stand shopping). If not, there are plenty of places to stop for a drink while you're wife shops!
