The street performers are very good and don't forget to tip them!!! Paplanta Flyers do shows day and night. Lots of night clubs and a different flavor between day and night

All the people walking and the sites are really different. Sit and watch or stop at one of the bars and watch the sun set. Awesome! Also no snow. Doug from Utah

One of the central attractions in PV. Well maintained beach front pedestrian road, ocean on one side, Cafes, bars, restaurants and tourist shops on the other. Watch out for the time share sakes people everywhere..

So nice strolling on the malecon with the Artwork, Restaurants, Shops and beautiful scenery. Sunday nights come alive with the locals and is somewhat of a fiesta with music.

The streets of Puerto Vallarta are full of potholes, uneven bricks and hidden obstructions just waiting to roll your ankle so be careful if you're out on a walk or run. My preference was to hit the Malacon early in the morning before it gets too busy. You can stroll, walk or run along the sea wall and enjoy the scenery and lovely weather. If you walk too close to the shops, you'll be bombarded with propaganda for day trips, free tequila, or future meals, so we liked to walk closer to the water. You'll still need to navigate strollers, statues and sightseeing photographers, but it's far easier to enjoy your workout on the Malecon than it is on the Colonia streets. That said, if you're training for a stair climb, check out the streets running perpendicular to the water - they can be very steep and the cement stairs provide quite the workout!
