“Delightful stroll”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

It's a wonderful place to stroll, window shop, find bargains, people watch. The statues all along are lovely, too.

“Great way to spend the afternoon”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

I have to say the sculptures, sand sculptures and the "human" statues were beautiful. The one living statue of a fairy was absolutely amazing. People were friendly and there is so much to see. The Burros Bar was terrific - just be careful of the beach vendors and be careful if you show interest - they'll be lining up to show you their wares. LOL

“What a place for people watching...wow!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

So much to see, to experience. The Malecon was a daily walk either during the day or evening. The place to be to experience the local flavour of Mexico. You will be surprised with unforeseen parades, shows, and local food

“Zzzzzz”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Boardwalk was a snore. Possibly because the resort was so amazing (Secrets Vallarta Bay). Got back in a cab quickly and headed back to the resort for more relaxing all inclusive service. Would get more of a bang out of this place if I was staying with friends in Old town or something.

“Worth it”

Love to spend evenings walking the boardwalk. So much activities, people mingling. Worth the effort to be there.
