We were at Secrets from the 25th to the 1st and it was a perfect 10. Perfect weather, room, food, hospitality, staff, resort and bar. It was nice to be greeted at the car with Champagne and a cool towel after a 4 hour fiight. Our room was spectacular!! The pools were great, the bar service in all areas was right on. Favorite place to eat was Japanese and the Mexican restaraunt. I would say to go to breakfast early if you want everything scoarching hot! If not you can customer order eggs anyway you want and omlets as well as waffles and hot tortillas. Loved the mimosa's, screw drvier and bloddy mary bar. The beach is nice, but wear beach sox/shoes to get in the water because of small rocks. Take a cab into old Vallarta town 10.00 each way or you can walk 30 minutes, very safe.... after eating and drinking the exercise is good. lol!! Shop the flea markets, very easy to haggle with no pressure. any questions? let me know.
