“Excellent experience!”
Reviewed January 31, 2012

I got my open water certification with Silent World Divers Vallarta in November 2011, after an extensive research on scuba diving companies in the area, I decided to go with them, it was a great experience, very knowledgeable staff, very experienced and great customer service, can't ask for any more. We were very comfortable with our instructor at all times and made the certification and following dives very pleasant, we also went night diving wich added to the experience, I will totally recommend diving with them when you are in Vallarta !

“The Experience of a Lifetime”
Reviewed January 10, 2012

We just got back from our PV vacation where we ended up trying things some of us might never have thought we would do - like scuba. The flatlanders from Alberta will be back.

We started out just trying the little pool intro to scuba offered at our resort by Silent World Divers (SWD). Our instructor, Rodolfo Rojas, was super at explaining the how and why of scuba basics with a big emphasis on safety. We then went into the pool and got to practice the important techniques for doing an actual dive and Rodo was very patient on making sure each person grasped the techniques he was showing us before moving on to something new. It seemed that he was definitely interested in us getting comfortable rather than just putting in time to get to the end of something he has probably done 1000 times. By the time we were done 3 of the 4 of us were raring to go to the ocean. Our one holdout figured they needed more pool time but rodo you got that person to a place they never thought they would go and i see another class in their future too.

The 2 Ocean dives we did around los arcos were amazing. Rodo and his partners were organised, professional and a lot of fun. They clearly love this diving thing. Again we went over all the important safety stuff, equipment and procedures before ever getting into the water. Then it was over the edge James Bond style and into the ocean for the first time ever.

What an experience. An unbelievable variety of fish and other ocean life guided by someone who clearly loves the ocean and showing its wonders to people. First time divers down there with sea snakes, eels, octopus and fish species to numerous to remember. Glad Rodo sent us some pictures (no extra charge) to remember the dive by.

The boys are already asking when we can start saving money for the next trip!

“Great personalized service”
Reviewed October 11, 2011

Roger and Rodolfo took great care of me. Rodolfo even took on the trouble to do a solo night dive with me. They are very reasonably priced, professional and, being only a dive shop, a much better alternative to the "cattle boats" that also do snuba, snorkel, ziplines and the rest of that nonsense.

“Silent World Divers is Great!!”
Reviewed May 6, 2011

Careful, Silent World is NOT Puerto Vallara Scuba (PBScuba).

We were going to be in PV for one day on a cruise ship stop and wanted to check out the diving. I researched dive operators on TripAdvisor and scuba web sites and settled on Silent World. Rudolpho had good reviews and was very responsive to my emails. I am an experienced diver, but I was diving with my daughter-in-law and there were her first post certification dives, so the location had to be safe for her and interesting for me. Rudolpho suggested sites that would fit those criteria, be close enough that there wasn't a long boat ride and more importantly, that he would take us to since there were only the two of us.

He suggested Los Arcos which proved to be perfect. It is calm enough that all the cattle car snorkel boats go there, but once you are below the surface, it was not crowded and there was a lot of interesting fish and sea life.

Thought not great, the visibility was enough to see everything and be able to keep track of your diving buddy. Rudolpho lead us on two great dives. I will be back next year.
