The pub features a wide selection of whiskey and fantastic pub fare. sorry this is so late...i know, i know...no excuse, but here i am to say that our christmas day visit to murphy's pub was amazing and felt welcome when we sat at the bar. for us canadians we were missin somethin and we asked for the fireplace channel so we could mentally and visually warm up with a pint of guinness while we chatted. we were also treated to a traditional mexican christmas meal that we gobbled...get it?...gobbled up within a few minutes.

muchos gracias mi amigo para un buen rato y muchoas gracias mi amiga para una comida increible

There's good and bad in the way of food...The Guiness Stew pot pie was phenomenal. I didn't care for the fish/shrimp combo, tasted like it wasn't completely cooked and a little too chewy. My wife said the hamburger was great. The chicken sandwich was really good but the fries were so-so. But it's still a real good place to hang out and I have to repeat this... The Guiness Stew pot pie was phenomenal.

I love this place! It is has a lovely open air view of the ocean and boardwalk and has very reasonable prices compared to other tourist traps along the boardwalk. I had a delicious south of the border salad with corn, beans, avocado, tomato and a fresh balsamic dressing and they even added grilled shrimp when i asked and they were amazing with the salad. There was a live rock band playing when I was there and I think they have live music Thursday-Sunday evenings. It was a really fun atmosphere with fun people and very reasonably priced drinks.

This place rips! The guy outside "Benny" got us in there with his friendly attitude and quick wit. We were soon in a lively Irish atmosphere with super good food and drinks and a rock band that was killing it. I started with a few Negro Modelos and a delicious grilled chicken sandwich then had some tequilla on the rocks. It was all delicious and good price to boot. We ended up closing down the pub and were introduced to the owner John who was a pleasure to meet. It was an all around great night.

We were lured in by attractive hawker. We heard there was going to be live music so we rushed to complete our dinner before the amps went on. Very pleasant service and food surprisingly good. We had spicy chicken wings, fried shrimp and beer battered fish sandwich. French fries could use a little work, though. Generous portions. Also, the Negro Modelo on tap was great. I think we were the o,rest people-- by twenty years-- in the restaurant. But we had a nice balcony table, a view of the Malecon, and a nice waitress-- so no complaints.
