Wife and I decided to do something different for this visit to Puerto Vallarta. We are foodies. So this tour was perfect for us!
Make sure you come hungry because you will have the opportunity to eat a bunch of delicious food!! It is a walking tour so wear comfortable shoes as well. Our tour guide (Star) was terrific. She not only brought us to wonderful dining establishments. She also told us a bit about the history, culture, and food of Puerto Vallarta.
We sampled food from lots of spots. The birria beef taco from Birria Ricky was one of my favorites. The Fish taco from Marisma's was awesome!! Ceviche Tostado from El Colera was terrific. El Moreno made us one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. The ice cream from La Michoacana was fantastic!!
These were just half of the spots we stopped at on our Signature Taco and More Tour. I recommend Vallarta Eats to all you foodies out there!! Bon Appetit!!
Abel was our guide for this evening walking tour. We visited 3 restaurants, a taco cart, a churro cart and finished at an ice cream shop. Abel was personable, fun and full of information about Vallarta - his hometown. This was a fantastic way to begin our vacation. I highly recommend Vallarta Eats.
If you are looking for a taste of the real Puerto Vallarta, go on this tour. The food is delicious. We were STUFFED full, but kept eating it was just that good. Eric is an absolute joy and Daniela is the kindest, warmest, most decent person on the face of the planet. She really takes care of you and assures that you have the absolute best experience. She is a nurturer at heart and is absolute perfection in giving you insider tips to explore PV on your own. Stop reading this and book the tour already!!
This was a wonderful food tour and I highly recommend it!
Our wonderful guide Daniela took us to 4 restaurants all offering a slightly different take on Mexican cuisine. We tasted everything from fried oysters to a variety of desserts. She even introduced us to my new favorite liquor Licor 43, which you must try poured over vanilla ice cream.... Fabulous!
This trip is well worth the money and highly recommended.
First, Daniella was our tour guide and was amazing! It was a VERY hot evening and she came prepared with cold towels and water for everyone. Her passion for PV , the food culture and the people was infectious.
I was with my teenage daughter and we had a great time with our guide and the others in our small group.
We got to eat at some authentic food trucks and off the beaten path restaurants that we probably would never have found on our own.
Afterward you get an email with pictures taken during the tour and addresses of all the stops made.
The only warning: Pace yourself, it is A LOT of food. My daughter and I were sharing portions by the third stop. I would have done it that way from the beginning if I did the tour again.
I highly recommend this tour and will definitely be doing more tours with Vallarta Eats!
