December last year we took Eric's Taco Tour this year seven of us took Eric's evening "Mole Pozole and More" tour. Fortunately for us, this was scheduled for the last evening of the Virgin of Guadalupe processions and the atmosphere around town was stunning. Eric did warn us to come hungry! Memo our guide met us at the Insurgentes Bridge and off we went. We proceeded to have the following over a period of 3 hours: tostada ceviche; shrimp burrito; taco al pastor con todo; chicken enchiladas with two types of mole (green & red) and finally ending with a fabulous pozole soup; taco dorado with cheese and atole. A final stop at a helado stand for dessert and we were finished. Absolutely delicious and we were stuffed! You will not be disappointed. You have to take this tour!!

A fantastic way to start our vacation. Highly recommend for anyone visiting PV. Our guide (Memo) was punctual, knowledgeable and knew all the best places to take us. Over the course of our vacation we returned to some of our favorite stops.

Had a fantastic Mole and more tour last night.Met Eddie initially-who helped set the tour up=very easy to work with and very accommodating with our groups dietary restrictions.
Then we left on the tour with Memo-who was a fantastic host and guide. 4 1/2 hours later we rolled into our cab to come home. Amazing food/friends and fiesta vim. Ate at many small, family owned places I wouldn't have known about or found- would highly recommend for anyone who likes to eat and explore-thanks again Memo and Eric.

Do yourself a favor and take this tour at the beginning. You will eat much better and cheaper for the rest of your time in PV. Bernardo was a fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable about everything PV and is happy to answer your questions about things. The foods were great at each place. There is more than food carts, we went to a bakery to see behind the scenes, a tortilla factory and a candy store. Every place was different with different specialties. Even the fruit drinks in each place were different. No need to worry about your tummy, only how you will be able to eat all that is offered. The marlin filets on a stick were my favorite.

What a great way to spend a few hours of the day. Eric the owner met our group of five at exactly the time and place designated. He explained the tour and introduced us to our guide Memo. We each received a Vallarta Eats bag and bottle of chilled water and off we went. Let me tell you there is a lot of food on this tour so come hungry. The variety was great and everything was delicious. Along the way Memo shared lots of stories and information about PV. There was plenty of opportunity to sit and we even spend some time sitting on the beach with cervesas and grilled fish. The entire tour was very entertaining, interesting and did I mention that there is a lot of food? This is a great value and a wonderful way to learn more about the wonderful city of Puerto Vallarta.
