Our first visit to Amore and it won't be our last. Excellent food and reasonable prices. The only negative would be that they don't take credit cards.

The steak and the shrimp [6] dishes were great. The taste was excellent and the presentation was upscale. The portions are a little small, but we felt full with the bread. We WILL go back again because of the food. We had 5:30 rsvp and Eduardo was on his lap top when we arrived. We were the only people there for about 30 minutes. He greeted us very friendly, but would always go back to his lap top. The lady behind the counter was also on a lap top. Every time we wanted something [bread; drinks; more dressing etc.]; we had to flag him down to get off his lap top. Even when we wanted drinks we had to get him off the lap top. We would have had more drinks, but it was not worth the effort – his business loss. Unlike many other comments on excellent service, tonight his lap top was more important than his customers which took something away from the nice atmosphere. But the thing that was extremely disappointing was that the lady behind the counter short changed us when she brought us our change. It was only 5 Pesos, but it is the principle not the money. I just considered it part of the tip, just disappointed that it happened that way. Will go back, just count my change. There is only on street parking and it is extremely limited – take the bus, only ½ block of the route.

First course:
Bruschetta - 4 pieces on toasted bread? Amazing flavor
Caesar Salad - Delicious

Main Course:

Spaghetti - Yum! Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Smaller portion than I imagined, but I left the restaurant feeling full (ate a lot of the delicious complimentary warm bread rolls. The complimentary bread rolls came with an olive tapenade...

Ambiance:
Small restaurant and it wasn't busy at all. They played some good 90s music with music videos on their flat screen.

Owner, who was also our server, was real friendly and came by to talk to us.

Price for food and drinks was super reasonable.

Definitely try this place out.

Never thought I would rave about Italian food in Vallarta but here I am doing it. I had a fusilli dish and my friend had a vegetarian Lasagna. Both dishes were beautifully prepared. We started the meal with a Cesar salad - fresh and flavourful. The owners are courteous and helpful in the way the meals were explained. The male of the couple who own Amore even went out to the nearest taxi stand to get us a taxi for our ride home.
