“Excellent Food in a Beautiful Setting”
Reviewed January 28, 2012

I am from the US and visited PV (Marriott) with a friend from India who lives in Singapore. We made 2 visits to Bombay Brasserie in a new part of the Marina area and both times had delicious beautifully presented dishes: lentil soup, chicken curry, saag paneer (spinach and ricotta cheese), garlic naan, raita, 3 chutneys, samosas with cilantro chutney, chicken with spinach, roasted eggplant, and fragrant basmati rice. Wines were recommended by the proprietor's wife and were delicious. Lovely restaurant sparkling clean with outdoor seating and great lighting. My friend and I are regular travelers and from our international perspective this was a real find.

“Best meal of our trip!”
Reviewed January 26, 2012

Had a family dinner at the brasserie last night and all of us agreed it was the best meal we have had in PV thus far. We started off with naan and a couple orders of the lentil soup. The naan was undoubtedly the best I have ever had and was accompanied by three sauces spiced lentils and raita yoghurt dip. Amazing! I had the tikka chicken which was superb again heightened by the various sauces and another order of naan our table also had the lamb which was savory and perfectly cooked as well as an eggplant dish which blew my mind.. Overall the meal was under 600pesos and included a few glasses of wine.. If you're in the marina area Be sure to try this place out!

“Still tasty”
Reviewed November 10, 2011

I've now eaten at Bombay Brasserie four times in two trips to Vallarta, and still find it to be one of the best, most reasonably-priced restaurants in town. While the portions aren't huge, they're certainly satisfactory and uniformly delicious. On this trip we had the chicken tandoori ($8.00), the shrimp bhuna ($11.50) and the shrimp tandoori, and all were quite good. The restaurant's nice and intimate, with both indoor and outdoor dining options, Paul's a great host and his chef is accomodating. Be sure to order a basket of naan bread to accompany your meal.

“If there is only ONE Indian Restaurant in PV, thank Goodness this is it!”
Reviewed October 25, 2011

I moved to Puerto Vallarta from NYC seven years ago. Indian cuisine has been one of my most missed foods since the move. PV has so many wonderful eateries, but was lacking in this particular taste. No more. Bombay Brasserie brings the best of Indian cooking to Mexico. It is unadulterated, non-fusion--absolutely Indian and delectible. The samosas, chutneys, tandoori...everything, it spot on. I have been there many, many times since it opened and it never dissapoints. The Chef owners could not be more convivial and accomodating. If you are in Vallarta, this is one place that is well worth a visit. I think I am going back tonight.
