I ordered Tamal Oaxaqueño con Pollo y Mole Rojo Picoso. I was soon informed that dish was out. I ordered Enchiladas Con Pollo y Mole Tojo Picoso instead. The chicken filling was dry. The mole had great flavor but was too picante for most. Spicy is OK with me but I still prefer my mole in the typical non-spicy style. Accompanying rice and beans were good. The guacamole was excellent. A requested grilled jalapeno was perfectly cooked. My partner's giant chicken quesadilla was expertly cooked to a crisp then made soggy by the juice from the ranch-style beans spilled on the plate prior to serving. We were there about 9:45 pm on a Thursday. They closed about 1/2 hour before their posted 11 pm closing time. There were several tables of Mexicans present which is a good sign. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The restaurant was close to where we stayed. I might return because it is convenient but would not seek this place out if further away unless more attention is paid to the food.
