After hearing and reading good reviews about Taste Restaurant at Casa Cupula, my husband and I and a friend finally made it there. The entrance is a little bit hard to see if you are approaching from the north. We overshot it, turned around, and found the entrance. The street is a bit rough and narrow, so drive carefully. Actually, it's probably better to take a taxi.
Once there, we were surprised at how lovely the setting was. We were seated outdoors on a narrow terrace...very nice! Oh, I should mention that there is no elevator. There are some stairs to negotiate, so definitely not handicapped friendly.
Service was fast and efficient. Drink orders taken, and time to view the menu over cocktails (the tasting sampler explained by the waiter). The menu is quite interesting, therefore there was something that appealed to each of us. We all did the tasting, which consists of three different small plates. All were excellent and, even though we were thoroughly satisfied, we managed dessert as well. We also felt the wine was reasonably priced.
All in all.....a very pleasant dining experience which we will look forward to again.
