Great restaurant up on the mountain with a great view. Teresa the owner is there, very welcoming. Nice menu, some wonderful and delicious entrees. Been there a few times, never disappointed. Service is over the top..... Another place on my top ten while in PV.

“creatively fresh and enchantingly romantic”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

Teresa modestly took our order, and thus began an enchanting evening. perched over banderas bay we were dazzled by the peach soup with crispy lobster, sated by the mahi mahi in tamarind sauce, and amazed at the sensible wine prices and good service. take a taxi or enjoy the exercise walking up the hill to this little piece of heaven.

Delicious, creative and complex food. Owner is on site and lovely to meet. Service is almost overly attentive. Wonderful atmosphere with a nice view. Would highly recommend.

“Excellent cuisine and location”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

We liked this restaurant so much that we ate there twice during our 2-week stay in Puerto Vallarta. It is small and cozy (about 15 tables) with a beautiful location. The restaurant is located on a large patio with a view of the bay, a wonderful place to be at dinnertime as the sun is setting. Despite the casual setting, the food is excellent and the servers are attentive. One of the owners, Laura Teresa, is a constant presence in the restaurant. She is a delightfully charming and ebullient lady whose personality permeates this lovely restaurant.

Being a small restaurant, the menu selections are not as extensive as one would find in a larger establishment. But there is plenty of variety, so even the most picky diner would be able to find something of interest. The portions are large, but the kitchen will split an entrée. My fiancée and I like to order an appetizer, so splitting an entrée is a great option for us.

“Foodie Find”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

All things are relative and in that respect, Bistro Teresa's is top of the mark in PV. Tiny place with Teresa at the helm. She's very pleasant and runs a tight ship. Place is pretty and cozy. White table cloths and nice stemware. Service outstanding. Food -- Wonderful and well presented. You would think you were in an expensive chef owned restaurant in the States.
