“Fantastic Food”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

We enjoyed the food so much! It's as great as everyone says! I had the salmon with mango sauce stuffed with goat cheese which was very unusual and sooooo good. The three other diners at my table loved what they had too.

Certainly one of the best meals we have had anywhere, in a lovely intimate setting. Many, many compliments to the chef

“So good we returned 2 days later”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

The combination of the food, service and setting of Bistro Teresa made for a wonderful evening - twice! We were a group of four dining (from Northern NJ and Oakland, CA) on Dec 7th and 9th. It's a small but very nice setting overlooking the bay. The service was very friendly and attentive - not overbearing at all. The menu was written on a chalk board and had so many interesting options we appreciated the in-depth explanations of the dishes. The menu was an interesting combination of twists on Mexican recipes such as chicken mole (exceptional!) as well as international dishes such as tuna tartare. Over the 2 meals we ordered (and shared) a variety of appetizers including grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto with goat cheese, an interesting tortilla soup, amongst others. Entrees (very reasonable at about US$ 18-23) included a delicious coffee-rubbed steak, and a seafood tamale with subtle and interesting spices. Overall a great experience, a meal where you talk about the food and the service both during and after the meal. Our first dinner was so good we decided to return again during our visit as there were other dishes we wanted to try.
