We had an absolutely wonderful dinner last night at Mediterranean Cafe and Bakery at their new location in Gringo Gulch. It's like eating in an authentic Greek taverna. Homemade bread with homemade butter, baked feta with figs, chicken souvlaki with homemade tzaziki, honey-drenched homemade baklava for dessert. There are so many great things on the menu, I can't wait to go back! Leave room for dessert as the owner is renowned for her cakes, pies and other goodies.

Two blocks after the Church in the Centro, hike up MIna. On the corner of Miramar and Mina we had a choice of some wonderful Mediterranean pastas with chicken or lamb or no meat options. When Italian and Greek food is done right it is the greatest pleasure to eat and Julio and Patty the owners know how to cook. Patty also does impressive desserts from scratch . We were only visiting but will be back to this reasonably priced restaurant when we return next year. We had salad, a generous main dish and glass of wine for under $20.

Friendly tiny bistro with great Greek food and cold beer. Lots to eat, small price. I had the pasta with lemon, feta and black olives and could not finish it all. We picked up two cinnamon buns for breakfast. My delicious a.

We met Patty last year just before she closed. She's back just outside of Gringo Gulch and getting back into the swing of things. We had dinner twice with her and enjoyed every bite as did our friends. Patty always treats you like family and makes you feel welcome. She makes the best desserts ever!

She's at 449 Miramar, Puerto Vallarta. "Med Café Is now open Seven Nights a Week , From 4pm till 10 pm ! New Tel Number 113 0134
