We haven't eaten at MG in years but wanted to hear music last night. First off we ordered guacamole and it was tasteless. We needed to salt it and ask for some peppers to add to it. Secondly they neglected to make the delicious roasted tomato salsa that they make tableside until we saw it being made at tables all around us. We asked for a menu thinking people ordered it and that we had missed seeing it on the menu but we didn't - it's made free when you sit down. But not for us! We ordered a mojajete with just chicken- we don't eat red meat. After a very long time it was brought out with the combo of chicken, Shrimp and beef. We sent it back. Meanwhile I ordered a seltzer water and my husband ordered a beer. They never came. Then our dinner, which is served in a hot lava bowl came out cold. The waiter must have realized this because usually it's placed at the table on a hot pad and he realized he didn't need one! We sent it back and the third time it came out and was hot and delicious. Then a man named Cesar who lived ones like he was a manager came to our table and pulled up a chair to sit with us and apologized for what had gone wrong. He then offered our money back and free airline tickets to anywhere in the US if we'd go to see the Vidante in NV and their Cirque du Soleil show. We will not do timeshare presentations and we already own timeshare at Vidanta! I just thought the ruse on top of the bad service was way too much. After being a TA member for a long time and feel bad when restaurants get bad reviews this is my first negative review. Margarita Grill is on a fabulous corner on Basillo Badillo and should live up to the other great places to eat on that street!

OK, don't know about the food but the plain old Lime Marg was awesome. If you don't like them strong, better say so cause that is how they come!! A couple of these beauties and you will be well on your way.

We ate here twice last year during our visit. Had to stop here our first night back in town. Food is fresh & large portions. Service is very attentive. Drinks for two, appetizer & entrees average about $40 US dollars. A real bargain.

Stopped here a SECOND time while in town. Same great service & food!

Lots of people so we thought we would see what was going on. Well most people were drinking. Not too many eating but we thought we would try the food. My steak was ok but wife ordered the coconut shrimp. Big mistake. Hard to find the shrimp! Shrimp were encrusted in a thick batter. You tasted nothing but batter!!

We arrived kind of late, so seating was a breeze. The servers all greeted us with smiles, menus and attention.

We all ordered margarita's, and they were all top-notch. We were immediately visited by a young man with all the ingredients for making salsa on a tray and a big mulcajete for crushing all the ingredients. He asked how spicy we wanted it and made fast work of the salsa .

We ordered two fajita dishes: shrimp and vegetable and two mulcajete dishes: mixed and steak and scallops.

The fajita seasoning and the smell from the sizzling plates was amazing as was the appearance and the taste of the shrimp and veggies.

The mulcajete dishes were overflowing with steak and seafood as well as pieces of homemade chorizo and cactus.

The ambience was complete with a two piece guitar band playing classic rock! Wonderful!!

Highly recommend this place for all!!!
