Description: World class artsy European chocolate, handmade fresh in Vallarta each week. Artisan belgian chocolate that melts in your mouth like whipped cream in a chai latte. Perfect gift for that special someone, especially for you! We also own Lix Ice cream parlor - which is why this amazing natural chocolate is the special ingredient in the ice cream, toppings, and covering the bananas. Decadent. Divine. Simply Sublime.

Stopped in for a sampling. 4 chocolates ( chai, cinnamon, chile & coconut) $75 pesos. Yikes! Obviously these are very nice artisan chocolates, just at big mall boutique prices.

Ginger ice cream is new to me. My experience of the ginger ice cream is beyond belief - i had a hit of flavor and just got sent to the clouds. My wife and I ate our ice cream barely speaking. Just moaning with pleasure.

We think the location is different from what is named for the restaurant. This location is on Basilio Badillo, with side by side chocolate and ice cream places under the same ownership.

Do it. It's worth it.

Whenever we are in the Old Town (Romantic Zone,... Zona Romantica) area of PV,.. we ALWAYS stop for an ice cream here. It is on Basillo Badillo just a few feet east of Cafe de Olla.

We visited this store on Basillo Badillo November, 2013. We had just finished our Tours du Jour hike up to the "cross" with Sylvie. She takes everyone here for a treat after their hike. Wow. This place is the best! All kinds of chocolates in every shape and form. Sooooo good! She let us each pick one and we savored every bite. This chocolate store is very professional, clean, and right in the heart of old town. It has great air-condition too. On a different day we went back for more chocolate as it was THAT GOOD!

Do stop by, this chocolate is worth every calorie. Why did I wait so long before trying, when it is just around corner from my hotel?
