We just came back from our vacation at Puerto Vallarta's Vallarta Torre, tha staff is amazing, they are always at your service without being on your face; the beach is nice, the only problem is the public vendors at it...they are always on your face. But in general great, the place and the staff fixes it all (And Erik at the lobby takes care of any problem you may have)

This place was Great!!! The people there are only interested in making your stay nice. The staff goes above and beyond. The location was key to me. Most of the boat cruises and activities take place at the Marina. You are able to walk down the street to the Marina and not purchase a taxi all the time. The place even sets the fare for your ride in a taxi so you don't get taken advantage of. The Beach is the best. Look closely at where you stay because many places are up high and away from the beach or set away from it altogether. Security is as you enter at all times but not obtrusive, just makes you feel better. Never was there a problem with safety while we were there. Remember they survive due to us tourists and they protect you if anything. Oh ya and that goes for the water here too. They don't want you to get sick and never return so most water is bottled and Vallarta Torre is 100% filtered and you can drink from the sink if needed. Can't say enough about the place. Oh ya and they rent the rooms by the night as well if you aren't a timeshare owner or even ever want to be one.

Room Tip: View is better on the third floor and up but you may go lower but.... the lower right side is blocke...

This place is pleasant, safe and clean, and convenient to shopping, the Marina, and the airport. It’s a bit far from the center of town, so expect a 15-25 minute cab ride to Centro or Zona Romantica. It is located directly on the beach where, while “resting” on low-quality white plastic loungers that you could buy on discount at Home Depot, you will be solicited approximately once every 2-3 minutes to purchase cheap clothing, trinkets, jewelry, blankets, horseback rides, tobacco products, or drugs.

The age demographic of the guests/owners here dates to sometime around Lenin’s death and Franklin Roosevelt’s election as the Governor of New York. Soon, Vallarta Torre will need to hire a full-time on-site nurse, and not long after that a mortician. There is a shuffleboard court, and the scheduled group activities include bingo and “stretching.” There seems to be no alcohol in the margaritas they serve “two-for-one” during happy hour, and the bar closes at 10 p.m.

The staff is pleasant and responsive. They are very concerned that you will speak with representatives of competing timeshare properties, and they warn you against doing so at every opportunity: in the pre-registration mailer you receive before arriving, at check-in, and in your in-room information packets. They will, on the other hand, gladly treat you to breakfast if you’d like to hear their own sales pitch. They also take the time, several times a day, to ask you for your room number even when you are not charging anything to your room; perhaps this is a memory test?

There are helpful signs everywhere advertising the restaurant’s daily specials, which include “Mexican Night.” The café serves “Café Americano” consisting of drip coffee. The fitness center consists of a single outdoor treadmill.

The architecture and décor are very state-of-the-art circa 1978. Our bedroom included a giant eggshell-shaped relief sculpture behind the headboard.

This wasn’t a bad place to stay; nor was it excellent. It was, however, affordable, and reasonably convenient. We would recommend it strongly to our elderly parents. To our friends (like us in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s), perhaps not as much.

For a first time exsperience it was scary, eye opening, and WONDERFUL! We went by ourselves and didn't know anyone. We were told by eveyone we met, not to trust anyone. Now figure that one out. The Vallarta Torre people are all top shelf. We're not world travelers and we don't know first class but the people at Vallarta Torre treated us like we were. The food at their resuraunt was very good. The drinks were very good and we don't drink much. The service was out of this world, Charo was like a daughter to us and a very nicew person who goes that extra distance to help you. Salvador is a good friend and helpful. Its one big family and when you walk threw the main entryway the sign above the door says "Welcome Home" and it really means it. The vacation was scary at times, like I said but the family at Vallarta Torre maid you feel safe. We had a great time and would love to stay there again and again.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a balcony with an ocean view ya can't loose!

The condo's are very large even the 1bdrm. Beautiful view from balcony. Stayed there last week for 5dys. The prices at the bar is expensive except during Happy Hour 5-7p. The music needs to be toned down since this is more of a place with 50+ yr. olds. Check-out time should not be 11am way too early!! Most flights out of Puerto Vallarta leave around 3-5pm. If you ask for a late check-in 1hr. is $25, 2hrs. later is $50. The waiters at the restaurant are very nice but can't say much about the evening front desk personnels.
Otherwise, a great place to relax and soak in some sun!

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms are great because you don't have to take the elevator everytime you head out.

Low Key. Relaxing. Beautiful room and property. Good Food. Good Location. Decent Pool. We also stayed for another week at Mayan Palace and preferred Vallarta Torres. We would recommend this to anyone for a relaxing week. Do not miss Ritimos de Noche.

Room Tip: The pizza special only applies to room service. Check room service rates versus the hotel. Try to...

My husband's grandfather has a timeshare here and we were lucky enough to use it in late June. We had a wonderful time! Our 1 bedroom space was plenty - in fact, it's bigger than our apartment at home :)
Check in was quick and easy. The staff members were awesome. We had a small leak in our ceiling one day so we called maintenance. They were working on it within 20 minutes and it was fixed soon after.
The food and drinks here are great. (A little pricier than going to town to eat, but that's ok if you're just looking for convenience).
The tourist desk helped us pick a tour to do (Canopy River -- do it!) and it was awesome; their help was greatly appreciated.
The rooms are quiet, the views are beautiful and our overall experience was great. We did not want to leave. They really take care of you and it's a very charming place to stay.
I really like the convenience of being able to store your bags in a room for the day if you're flight leaves in the afternoon, later than the checkout time. We were able to leave our bags and go back to el Malecon one last time and not have to haul them around with us.

Beautiful, wonderful place to stay. We'd love to go back in the future.
