“There are only so many ways to say NO.”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

It is a lovely setting.
Also, you can walk across swaying bridges to cross the river. There are also other regular bridges. But the vendors tend to ask you for business just after you told the previous person(selling the same type of product) that you're not interested.

“charming treasure”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

sure, there are tourist stalls, some of which sell great things, and some of which sell mass-produced junk. But the island itself is magical. Some amazing trees, lots of fauna, the wood-slatted bridges that are an adventure to cross. Lots of cats wandering around, for cat lovers. It's a great refute, particularly at night when the stalls are closed. I've taken many people here and they're always charmed

“Crafts and locals taking art classes”
Reviewed December 7, 2011

Closer to the beach you´ll get to the crafts market, but go to walk deeper into the island to see what not so many turists know, which is the local Cultural Center.
Go to go in the morring to see locals taking painting, photo, sculpture, musical instrument making classes. If you get lucky and visit at night you may enjoy traditional mexican dance shows or the local choir giving a show.

Great for a stroll away from traffic, beautiful cafés with music and iguanas.
