“Great shops”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

While in Puerto Vallarta, you have a wonderful opportunity to visit all the little shops and restaurants next to the Malecon. We loved shopping at all the little shops. Awesome prices.

“heart of Puerto Vallarta”

You can really feel the culture of Mexico and the area in this section of PV. The big drawback from the Malecon is all the vendors hawking their wares but they are polite when you say no.

“Shopping Heaven”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

There are two open markets (they call them flea markets). One is near the ocean and the other is only a few blocks away. They sell everything from clothing to glassware to silver jewelry to toys, etc. They like to bargain so don't pay the first price quoted.
