Olas Altas is a fascinating little slice of PV. You have some of the nicest array of restaurants and bars than anywhere else in town. It reminds me a lot of the West Village in NYC because of the diversity of people here. It has a gritty sort of upscale quality not unlike the Village, but it also has gorgeous views of the beach (which NYC is sorely lacking!).

OA meshes the best parts of big city living with the stunning vistas and pace of a resort town. We spends lots of time down here when we travel and love that it reminds us of NYC without all the 'grit' of NYC.

This street in the Zona Romantica has so many great restaurants and bars and shops. Olas Altas is actually a section of the Zona Romantica and has much more to offer than the street, but the street is in the heart of the section and it has it all.

This is a really cute strip of stores and restaurants that's not as touristy as the Malecon. The blus shrimp restaurant isn't far and we ran into this great little beachfront bar that had a live reggae band playing! We had so much fun!

All I can say is Welcome!! A very busy area with a lot of little bars and unique friendly restaurants all a long Olas Altas. During the happy hour time look out!! It's defiantly a place to check out and sit and get a cocktail and people watch!
