This is a really cute strip of stores and restaurants that's not as touristy as the Malecon. The blus shrimp restaurant isn't far and we ran into this great little beachfront bar that had a live reggae band playing! We had so much fun!

All I can say is Welcome!! A very busy area with a lot of little bars and unique friendly restaurants all a long Olas Altas. During the happy hour time look out!! It's defiantly a place to check out and sit and get a cocktail and people watch!

A part of Puerta Vallarta centro that has several small restaurants, family-owned businesses, and open air stalls. Lots of busses rambling up and down the streets taking families, workers and tourists to their final destination. There is very little about this section of Puerto Vallarta that says "modern". That's what makes it so special! Los Muertos beach is just a stones throw away.

This area seems to be very crowded and lively, especially later in the day and in the evenings. A lot going on, many cafes/restaurants/bars to visit along the way.
