We had expected the Marina to be more vibrant, however, in August, many restaurants and shops are closed and there are numerous for sale signs on the surrounding apartments. According to a local, when a new cheaper Marina opened to the north a lot of boats and business moved as well. Luckily, Porto Bello restaurant was open as well as some noisy sports bars that must cater to expats. I wouldn't put it any To Do List.
