Owner description: The Pacific Ocean's largest and deepest inlet.

Wonderful views, incredible beaches, great restaurants and the friendliest people in the world. Banderas Bay is the second largest bay on the Pacific Coast, home to dolphins, whales, hatching turtles and dozens of bird species. You could walk the pristine, uncrowded beaches for 6 miles, barefoot.

Banderas Bay is one of the best places to sail in the world, with great winds and wonderfully protected waters.

There are so many great things to do in Banderas Bay, but let's keep it a secret between us, okay?

I like that Banderas Bay is a Dolphin breeding ground and as such there are no sharks because the Dolphins will kill them to keep their young safe. We watched dolphins jumping from our balcony at the Holiday Inn.

If you like the water and sailing, fishing, or just watersport in general you have to visit the Bay of Banderas. This is one of the top 5 sailing areas in the world and no one knows! The Banderas Bay Regatta happens every March (since 1992) and is a cruisers regatta unlike any other in the Americas. Once here, you might never leave!

There are many activities in the bay of banderas. You can simply lay around and enjoy the beach, ocean activities, or simply walk around and enjoy the wonderful seafood.

We do not worry about storms as this largest bay keeps the storms out in the Pacific. It is a micro climate with whales, dolphins and schools of fish.
