My family of 6 and I had a wonderful time at Unique ATV tours. Our tour was the 1pm tour on August 2, 2013 I believe. We had three riders with minimal ATV experience and 3 with none at all. We chose the three and half hour tour, (the lowest one) because that was all we wanted. How we found ATV tours was through a beach seller and we had no problem with prices changing on us when we got there. (Although we did notice the payment for our group in pesos was lower than what we paid in america, but our seller had to get his cut, Understandable) Once at Unique we waited with the rest of our group probably less than 20 minutes. Recieved a fairly easy tutorial on how to use the ATV. My sister was slight intimidated with the ATV but Oscar? The ATV we're not in pristine condition but I knew to expect that, as I have traveled to Cabo and PV before and knew that when you use these tours you are not in the states and are not going to be riding on brand new machines. We headed out of the Unique tours location. which is a open court yard. Rode through town until we reached the mountain dirt road. The ride through town was nice. Got to see the real side of town. And my family enjoyed that. Once on the dirt mountain road we go to open up a little more pick up some speed and get the gears going. We rode for quite awhile until it seems we reached the top or our riding point and started to head down just a bit before the first Snack stop. There we got to go to the bathroom. Drink some Corona's, try some of tequila, take pictures. Some of our tour walked down to the river and jumped in, the pool was empty. My family enjoyed just sitting and talking with our guide. After probably about a half hour we jumped back on. Headed down a bit more and came upon the restaurant. There we ate, awesome food for it being a restaurant on the side of a mountain on the side of a dirt road. Got to taste the tequila specific to the restaruant, my family througholy enjoyed this. After probably about an hour we finished up our tour back into town.
All in all it was a fun experience. We weren't looking for a full on ATV tour, we enjoyed the breaks. (As we had such new riders) Enjoyed the food, and Tequila!!! And had an awesome crew with us. Very helpful and informative. Hilarious too! If your really an ATVer, sure take the longer ride there will probably be more time on the ATVs. But for my family of new riders this was perfect and exactly what we needed. Great way to see the beautiful mountain area. And a great time for all!
