We ate there twice over New Years week as we were staying at the resort and it was not convenient to go into Puerta Vallarta for dinner on two of the evenings. Service was good and pleasant. Soup was excellent in taste, but the tortilla soup was gourmet size (small probably slightly less than a cup). Cream of corn soup made from scratch was also excellent, but also small portion. It seems like they are trying to be a fine gourmet restaurant but not quite there (close but not quite there when compared to others in the same price range.) Prices were not too expensive for a resort restaurant of that caliber, but there was no dinner size salad available, so if one wanted to have a soup and salad for a meal, then this is not the place. (But we did have the excellent soup twice and then supplemented later with room service nachos which were very good and very reasonably priced.). The decor and setting was very nice so it was still worth it to be able to sit down and have something very good, albeit small portions.
