“Make you feel like home”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

We stayed just yup the hill at a condo and even though everyone at the condos kept recommending it,we kept walking by.Finally we gave it a try and now it is at the top of our list of restaurants in Puerto Vallarta to go to.It is on a side street up from the Malecon. Our waiter on our last visit had lived in Gary Indiana and engaged us in lively conversation throughout the evening. We all all ordered his of varying varieties. My old favorite is the magi-mahi grilled with garlic sauce.Everyone in our party of 4 raved about how great the dinner was.The restaurant has a feel of home---very unpretentious but comfortable. All of the staff are pleasant and upbeat. We now go there at a minimum of two times every time we are in Puerto Vallarta

“You can't go wrong here for sure............”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

Excellent location about two and half short blocks east of the Malecon and about 4 blocks north of the Sea Horse and Boy statue...the menu was quite good and the service impeccable. The food we ordered was simply delicious...I ordered the jumbo shrimp accula which was with a mushroom cheese sauce over top and my friend ordered two jumbo shrimp with bacon wrapped around them and two jumbo garlic shrimp...all came with sides of rice and steamed mixed fresh vegetables. We got the usual corn chips with salsas and a bowl of to die for guacamole...in all honesty you have to try this place it is that good !!! Dined there Dec 31st and what a fantastic dining experience to ring in the New Years !!

“Delicious food blocks up from malecon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Surprisingly good, worth crossing traffic to get to a non-touristy street. Shrimp ceviche was the size of an entree, and great. Giant coconut shrimp were great. Attentive service though we arrived at a busy time and the kitchen was slow.

“Definitely Worth Seeking Out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

This seafood restaurant is not glitzy but has a pleasant atmosphere and serves wonderful seafood. It is a couple of short blocks away from the malecon. I had a mixed seafood dish different from anything I've had before which was delicious and my wife had dorado which she very much enjoyed. From the street the restaurant appears smaller than it is especially if you pass by when it is closed.

Great service with pleasant staff.

Definitely worth seeking out and should not be missed.

“Very fresh seafood in a low key restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

I had read reviews of this restaurant but never got around to trying it until this past trip. My buddy from NY had eaten here before and liked it very much. I decided to try it out. It's a cute family run, small but very clean establishment with great service. They take the time to show you the seafood raw first so you know your getting a very fresh dinner. I enjoyed a whole red snapper Veracruz style and on another night enjoyed fresh mahi mahi cooked in a tin foil bag with some olive oil and veggies. It was very good and the staff aims to please you.

If you are seeking a reasonably priced low key quiet dinner of very fresh seafood, this is the place.
