“Very nice place!”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

We found this place by driving by on the bus. There are a few outside tables along the road, and several comfortable tables inside the air-conditioned building. The hours / days opened are limited - it opens at 6:00 pm only four days per week. The drinks are expensive, but good - Most are $89.00 peso. The pizzas are nice - see the attached picture; only one size available. The calabreza pizza (pepporoni) was lacking flavour for $92.00 peso, however the Viva Mexico pizza for $95.00 was wonderful! Staff is very attentive. Salads are huge, as well as sandwiches. Light, romantic music in the background. Would go back in a heart beat. Enjoy!

“Pizza in Mexico???”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Who would have thought that you could get such delicious pizza in a small Mexican restaurant. It was Halloween the nite we got there, and the hostess was wearing a complete Japanese outfit, kimono, sticks in her hair, and wood sandals. I almost thought we were in the wrong place!! The cocktail menu was extensive, the salad fresh and tasty, and the pizza was perfect!!
This cozy place was walking distance from our hotel (Villa Premiere) and across from a lovely church and park. A real find in a foody town.

“Reasonably Good Local Haunt”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Despite its ubiquity, good Italian food is hard to find in Puerto Vallarta. Pan y Que? does a reasonably good job with its salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. It's not going to blow one's mind, but it will satisfy, and it will do so affordably. Even though Pan y Que is located just one block off of the main road to the Malecon, it seems to attract very few tourists. Of the half dozen times I've been there, I don't recall ever seeing a tourist. It's primarily a local hang-out, and it appears as if many of the patrons know, are friends with, or have become friends with the owners.

An added bonus (particularly for a local joint) is that it is open late -- until 1a -- on Fridays and Saturdays. Open 'till 11p the rest of the week. Closed Sundays.

“great pizza, salads, value, and people!!”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

I have been back several times for the generous, fresh salads, very tasty pizzas, good selection of drinks, and friendly professional people who make this delightful, convenient location run smoothly. My only regret is that they are not open for lunch as well. Maybe that will happen in the "high" season. . . I can only hope!!

“A Real Surprise”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

We recently visited this restaurant using a coupon and for that reason expectations were not high, however, what a surprise we received - great food, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. It was a very rainy Wednesday in late August and the place was packed which is a good sign of a quality place.
We had the chicken pasta and shrimp pasta and both were exceptional, followed those up with a couple of excellent thin pizzas, coffee and dessert and we could not fault any of it. The waiters were young guys with a lot of enthusiasm so we were never short of anything.
We will definately be back and recommending to friends and PV visitors in the future.
