We got off the plane from Denver and the following morning found ourselves at the Port of Puerto Vallarta listening and watching an orientation that was immediately engrossing and only a hint of what was to come once we boarded our boat and headed out onto Banderas Bay with Oskar and his crew (Jorge and Lucio). The whale watching, which was spectacular, was just a part of a day of learning about nearly everything aquatic, from a man whose approach to life and teaching was as refreshing as the cool breeze blowing across the water. Oskar should be declared a national treasure. Being on the Bay with the Humpbacks could not have been a more memorable experience.
